Board of Governors President Chris Roberts President Elect Doug Jeppesen Secretary Kathy Henry Youth, Swim, and Tennis Committee Chair Dining/Social Committee Chair Elaine Modene Membership Committee Chair Kathy Henry Golf Committee Chair Tom Kupetis Greens & Grounds Committee Chair Doug Cuscaden Members at Large Mike Ritschdorff Jeff Robinson Kathleen Harrington Dear Eagle Brook Members, Letter From the General Manager Eric Pratali Epratali@eaglebrookclub.com We are a little more than halfway through our transformation process for the club s new restaurant, bar, wine room, and fitness area. This is the first major construction/transformation project that I have been involved with, and for the most part it has been fairly smooth. I often hear horror stories about major construction projects with lots of the surprises, etc. but, we haven t experienced too many of those major issues. "Knock on wood". As we charge closer to our completion date, my excitement level is definitely increasing as I m sure yours is as well. I knew that it would be a busier than normal off-season with the construction process and didn't realize exactly how much there was to re-opening a new restaurant and bar, as well as fitness facility. There are a lot of things that we take for granted when we go to restaurants that need to be planned out for. We have been very busy planning every detail, both great and small for our upcoming re-opening of our new space. We have been busy hiring new Eagle Brook employees for the reopening / season, along with revamping our entire training program and service program. We've had several club visits from our corporate office and they are very happy with the progress of the transformation. They are very excited with what s happening at EBCC, and think this could be the best transformation out of all of the Arcis properties! Thank you again for your patience during the construction, I know it is going to be well worth the wait. I am happy to announce that Eagle Brook CC has a new Executive Chef! After reviewing over 100+ candidates, and with the help of our Corporate Food and Beverage Manager and Corporate Chef at Arcis Golf, Trevor Nylen was offered the position of Executive Chef at Eagle Brook CC. We are all very excited to have Trevor as our Chef when he starts on Tuesday, March 8 th. Please welcome Trevor the next time you are at the club. Meet Chef Trevor Nylen: Chef Trevor Nylen learned at an early age that good food was essential to good living and recognized its power to bring people together. While growing up, he frequently prepared meals for his family and continued to do so for friends at Bradley University. In 2007, Chef Trevor decided to leave the Midwest and attend Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Las Vegas, Nevada. Classical French training opened up doors to work at restaurants in several Las Vegas Strip hotels. As an Executive Chef, Trevor creates vibrant flavor combinations that honor cuisines from around the globe. He believes in sourcing the freshest and best ingredients to develop his menus and has even grown his own organic produce in restaurants! As the new Executive Chef at Eagle Brook Country Club, Trevor is committed to delivering great food and service to its Members.

Letter From the General Manager Eric Pratali Epratali@eaglebrookclub.com Work began again on hole number 18 for the bank restoration project. With the nice weather last week they were able to accomplish quite a bit of work. All of the steel beams have been driven down into the ground and the steel facing has been installed as well. They began to backfill with the smaller rocks to prevent any additional holes from burrowing animals, and they began to place the large "holy boulders, like hole number six for the final stage. If the weather continues to cooperate, we probably have another week - two weeks of work left to finish the project. This will make an already beautiful and difficult hole even more beautiful. The golf season is right around the corner and it's very exciting to see event sign-up boards posted down stairs. It won't be too long until all of the club s operations will be firing on all cylinders and we ll find ourselves in the thick of the event season. I look forward to all of this year s events, golf and social, as it is one of my most favorite things to be part of. Hopefully you have been able to use the club s new website to make reservations, and check out the calendar of social and golf events. Please make sure to continue to check the club s calendar for upcoming events at the club, including our Easter brunch, Easter egg hunt, wine dinner, Fish Fry s, Cocktail Party, etc. Thank you again for all of your support. Hopefully, by this time next month, we will be on the golf course and very close to our opening of the new spaces. Regards, Eric Pratali, PGA General Manager
