Baseball League Rules (Modified -2/22/2018) -Forfeits- Teams will be considered a forfeit when the team does not meet the minimum players by 5 minutes of the scheduled game time start. -No infield is allowed prior to the game starting. Please stay off baselines, home plate and pitching mound. Please stay off all dirt areas when warming up. -No player may sit out more than 2 consecutive innings unless for a medical reason. -All players will be in the batting line-up the entire game. -Head first slide is an automatic out. -The home team will be on the 3 rd base line and visitors on the 1 st base line. Please clean your dugout when your game is over. -Game balls will be provided. -Players must slide into home if there is going to be a play (if the catcher is in the process of receiving the ball they must slide) Players who do not slide will be called out. Umpire discretion will be used. -The home team will keep the official book and the visitors will keep the scoreboard. Head Coaches will deliver their line-up to umpire and official scorekeeper prior to the game. -No profane language, bikes, motorized vehicles, skates, skateboards, or alcoholic beverages in the park. -No tobacco products in the dugouts or on the field. -Harassment of umpires by coaches, players, or spectators is prohibited. If such infraction occurs, the umpire will give a warning to the violating team and ask that the coach address his/her parents, if the infraction is committed by fans. A second violation can result in an automatic ejection of the violator, if deemed necessary by the umpire. -Any player, coach or parent ejected from any game must sit out at the next scheduled game but could be more just depending of the severity of the ejection and MUST meet with park staff before returning to the team. If a player, coach or fan/parent is ejected twice during the season, they will be suspended for the rest reminder of the year. -Coaches can only leave the playing field for medical, bathroom, or game emergencies. If a coach leaves the playing field because they do not agree with an official s calls then they will be automatically ejected from the park. -No littering. Any person guilty of vandalism will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. -No loud music. -All games in all divisions will be allowed to end in a tie. -Head Umpires will lead pre-game plate meeting. -All rules not covered, refer to the Little League Baseball Rules and Regulations and/or CPR Administrative Staff.

4U Division T-Ball -Game will last two full innings. Each team will bat round robin each inning. -The umpire will place the ball on the Tee. The batter has 5 swings to hit the ball fair before he/she is out. -There can be up to 3 defensive (behind players in the outfield or foul lines) and 3 offensive coaches on the playing field at all times. -Players must attempt to throw the ball to try and get an out (any ball fielded within the circle must be thrown to get an out). -One base advance is allowed on overthrow at first base. -Players are allowed to advance more than one base on a hit. -A ½ inning will be when the last batter has batted. At this time the last batter will run all the way around the bases no matter out or safe. -No lining up a player on the tee by the coach. 5U Division T-Ball -Game time limit is one hour and 15 minutes, or five innings, whichever comes first. -The umpire will place the ball on the Tee. -Head umpire will be home plate umpire. -The player has four swings to hit the ball fair before he/she is out. -No new inning will start with 5 or less minutes in the game. -If a batter slings his bat, a warning will be given to the team at bat. After one warning, any player on the warned team who slings his bat will be called out immediately. No runners will advance. The umpire will be sole judge of whether the bat was slung or dropped. This is NOT an appeal play. -There can be up to 2 defensive and 3 offensive coaches on the playing field at all times. Coaches must be out of the playing area (behind the outfielders, or in foul territory). -There is no bunting allowed. -Players must attempt to throw the ball to try and get an out (any ball fielded within the circle must be thrown to get an out). -One base advance is allowed on overthrow at first base. -A ½ inning will be 3 outs or when a team has scored 5 runs. -Run rules are 10 after 3 rd and 8 after 4 th or up by more than 5 in the last inning. -No physically lining up a player on the tee by the coach.

6U Division - Coach Pitch/T-Ball -Game time limit is one hour and 15 minutes or 5 innings, whichever comes first. -No new inning will start with 5 or less minutes in the game. -The coach will throw three over-hand pitches from 30 feet. If the player does not hit the ball by the third pitch, then a tee will be placed in front of the player. The player has two swings to hit the ball from the tee. - If a player fouls off the third thrown pitch, then they will receive a fourth pitch. -It is up to the pitching coach to stay out of the way of a live play/ball. If a thrown ball accidentally hits the pitching coach, there will be no penalty and it will be played as a live ball. If the coach catches a thrown live ball or is judged by the umpire to intentionally interfere with a live ball, or a defensive player, then the batter shall be called out and all runners will be returned to their bases of origin. The coach will then receive a warning for the interference and will be removed from the game upon a second offense. -If a batter slings his bat, a warning will be given to the team at bat. After one warning, any player on the warned team who slings his bat will be called out immediately. No runners will advance. The umpire will be sole judge of whether the bat was slung or dropped. This is NOT an appeal play. -There can be up to 2 defensive and 3 offensive coaches on the playing field at all times. If they attempt to make an out at another base, then the runner can continue to advance. Once the ball is in control in the pitching circle, or the advancement of the lead runner has been stopped, the play will be called dead. -A ½ inning will be 3 outs or when a team has scored 5 runs. -Run rules are 10 after 3 rd and 8 after 4 th or up by more than 5 in the last inning. -No lining up a player on the tee by the coach. -Offensive base coaches are not allowed to physically assist or impede base runners while a ball is in play. If noticed by the umpire, the first offense will be a warning to the violating team. The second offense will result in a dead ball and the base runner will be called out. 8U Division - Coach Pitch/Closed Base -Game time limit is one hour and 20 minutes or 6 innings, whichever comes first. -For a game to start each team must have a minimum of 8 players (5-minute grace period) and must finish with at least 7 players or the game will be a forfeit. -Teams must have 4 outfielders before a second pitcher can be used. -Defensive pitchers must keep one foot within the pitching circle until ball is put in to play. Pitchers can step out of circle before the pitch is thrown, ONLY if the batter is showing a bunt. - Coaches must stand when pitching to batters. Only one pitching per team allowed on the field. Coach who starts an inning must finish the inning. - It is up to the pitching coach to stay out of the way of a live play/ball. If a thrown ball accidentally hits the pitching coach, there will be no penalty and it will be played as a live ball. If the coach catches a thrown live ball or is judged

by the umpire to intentionally interfere with a live ball, or a defensive player, then the batter shall be called out and all runners will be returned to their bases of origin. The coach will then receive a warning for the interference and will be removed from the game upon a second offense. -Batters will receive 5 pitches from 38. Final pitch can be fouled off until batter misses or puts ball in play. Three missed swings will count as an out. -When a batted ball hits the pitching coach, the ball is dead, the batter is awarded 1 st base and runners shall advance 1 base if necessary. -No stealing allowed and runners must keep one foot touching the base they occupy until they are forced to advance. If a baserunner does steal or leaves the base before the ball is put in play they will return to their base of origin and the pitch will be replayed. -A team may score a maximum of 5 runs per inning. -Run rules are 10 after 3rd, 8 after 4th, or up by more than 6 in the last inning. -No player may deliberately roll the baseball to another player. -Runner must be batted in from 3 rd base. -Bunting is allowed. -There will be no fake bunts and then hit away. The penalty will be an out and team will be warned. The second offense in the same game will result in an out and ejection of the player and manager. -If a batter slings his bat, a warning will be given to the team at bat. After one warning, any player on warned team who slings his bat will be called out immediately and no runners will advance. Umpire judgement call and this is NOT appealable. 10U Division Live Arm/Closed Base -Game time limit is one hour and twenty minutes or 6 innings, whichever comes first. -A team may score a maximum of 6 runs per inning. -Runners may steal once the ball crosses the plate. -Run Rule is 12 after 3 rd, 10 after 4 th or up more than 6 runs in the last inning. 12U Division Live Arm/Closed Base -Game time limit is one hour and 30 minutes, or 6 innings, whichever comes first. -A team may score a maximum of 6 runs per inning. -Run Rule is 12 after 3 rd, 10 after 4 th or up more than 6 runs in the last inning. -Runners may lead off the base. If at any time a balk takes place, the first incident will be a warning, unless it hurts the base runner. The second balk will result in the runner being rewarded a base.

-Players are not allowed to fake bunt and then swing away. Penalty will be an out and second offense will result in an out and ejection of player and manager. -Pitching distance will be set at 50 and bases set at a distance of 70. 15U Divison Live Arm/Open Base -Game time limit is one hour and 40 minutes, or 7 innings, whichever comes first. -A team may score a maximum of 7 runs per inning. -Run Rule is 12 after 3 rd and 10 after 4 th. -Pitching distance will be set at 60 6 and bases will be set at 90. Protests -No protests at any time for T-ball divisions. -Protests are prohibited during all regular season play. -Tournament play will allow protests. Protests can be considered regarding the violation or interpretation of a playing rule, the play of an ineligible player, or ineligible pitcher. Protests will not be considered on any judgement call made by an umpire. The protest procedure will follow the guidelines laid out in the Little League Baseball Official Regulations, Playing Rules, and Policies Handbook. All rules are in accordance with of the Baseball Rules and Regulations & Official Playing Rules Handbook, Official Rulebook/Guidelines of Little League Baseball. Please refer to the Handbook for clarification on rules and for any rules that may not be listed in this packet. CPR staff has the discretion to modify any league rules, if they deem necessary, at any time during the season.
