REPORT OF IFAGG 2012 International Federation of Aesthetic Group Gymnastics IFAGG is the supreme authority on all matters relating to International Aesthetic Group Gymnastics. A President and a 6 member council carry on the responsibility to operate the Federation activities between General Assemblies. There are two standing committees reporting to the council: Technical Committee (TC) and Promotion Committee (PC). IFAGG will provide leadership, systems, and programs for all members. Mission statement: Members to promote the sport of AGG; to coordinate international competitions and events; to grant the right to host World Championships; to develop and maintain the International rules of AGG; to develop training materials and educational programs for coaches and judges; to foster cooperative relations with other international sport organizations; to represent the interests of AGG throughout the world when dealing with other organizations. Board Decisions of Memberships The board of IFAGG has made a decision concerning the membership (on Friday 10th of February, 2012): Minutes of the meeting 10.02.2012, point 10. Members Those members who are not active will get an invoice of a C-member and a letter with information that if these members don t pay their membership fee, they will be removed from the membership. IFAGG board will discuss and decide the membership of the following members at the meeting in Barcelona, May 2013 and in Lahti, June 2013. Project of spreading AGG 1. These countries have been in contact with IFAGG or IFAGG has nominated person responsible/country to make first contact and act as a mentor for the country. Mrs Evelyn Koop from Canada has also made great work of spreading this sport to Asia and North and South America. Finland s Gymnastics Federation SVOLI has made a special project to develop and spread AGG in several selected countries. SVOLI has nominated mentors to this work. Countries that have been in contact to IFAGG or to whom IFAGG has or will make the first contact to spread AGG and help them to begin this sport and apply the membership of IFAGG: 1. Andorra 2. The structure of IFAGG The highest authority of IFAGG is the General Assembly (GA). GA will gather at least once a year, usually in the connection of the World Championships. The Board leads the activity of IFAGG between the General Assemblies. The board has sub committees: Technical Committee and possible other committees. The sub committees may use help of experts of different areas of activity if needed. The office services have been bought from Deviation Finland Ltd. The executive director service has been bought from Mrs. Tatiana Miroshnychenko located in Spain until July 31 st 2012. Starting 1 st of August 2012 technical director service has been bought from Mrs. Tatiana Miroshnychenko. General Assembly 2012 The General Assembly was held in 25 th of May 2012 in Cartagena, Spain. There were 16 of the 30 members present, also the board of IFAGG. The next Assembly was decided to be kept in Lahti, Finland on June 2013 in the connection of the World Championships 2013. Determines the seat of the IFAGG Elects Vice Presidents Has the right to sign for the IFAGG Develops and makes plans for IFAGG actions Calls General Assembly and prepares matters to be handled in the meeting Prepares possible changes in the IFAGG Statutes, material for Congress and the General Assembly, prepares other basic documentation of the IFAGG Verifies observance of the Statutes and other IFAGG rules Verifies the International Competition Rules for the IFAGG and distributes them to all members Confirms and supervises observance of decisions and documentation (e.g. minutes) of the IFAGG Adjudicates in controversies arising during IFAGG approved international competitions Forms permanent or temporary committees or groups The Board has right to take any of it s subcommittee s matters to decide The Board can delegate work and tasks to it s subcommittees or other person with expertise on the matter. Decides members of IFAGG and to keep a list of all members Makes proposals to the General Assembly for new honorary members Co-operate with international organizations and institutions International Federation of Aesthetic Group Gymnastics IFAGG Aleksandra Tuomala-Jantunen In General Assembly in Cartagena two of the original Board members were elected again for the mandate period 2012 2014. Those members were Elena Dukova, Bulgaria and Renata Vrbova, Czech Republic. Polina Nochenova was elected as chair for technical committee. Tatiana Miroshnychenko was elected as Technical Director. Information channels Official information channels of IFAGG are: - AGG international Bulletin (send by e-mail and published on the WebPages) - IFAGG s web pages www.ifagg.com and IFAGG s email address is office@ifagg.com. IFAGG s WebPages were reformed by the office. New pages were published on 1.1.2013. 6

Development projects IFAGG started to develop its registers. New electronic databases were created with Fitteq Engine (developed by Fitteq Finland Ltd). Fitteq Engine is a special electronic tool for registers (authorization processes). With Fitteq Engine it is possible to create and update: - an international judges register - competitors license documents (can be filled in through IFAGG WebPages by members; electronic form behind password) - IFAGG certificates/ diplomas Technical Committee of IFAGG 2012 Members of the Technical Committee (TC): Technical Director Tatiana Miroshnychenko, ESP, Chair person: Polina Notchevnova, RUS Members: Anna-Liisa Parm, EST, Elena Dukova, BUL, Leila Timofeeva, ESP, Renata Vrbova, CZE, Salla Lintunen, FIN, Tarja Rasimus-Järvinen, FIN, Alla Kosheleva, CAN Technical Committee has had 4 meetings during year 2012. 1. in Tartu, EST 9.2 2012 2. in Vantaa, FIN 15.3.2012 3. in Varna, BUL 27.4. 2012 4. in Barcelona, 26-28.6. 2012. Anti doping work IFAGG has decided in the General Assembly 2008 that IFAGG will follow up WADA s Anti Doping Programme. More information is at IFAGG WebPages www.ifagg.com. Competitions 2012 World Championships were held on 26 th 27 th of May in Cartagena, Spain. There were altogether 26 teams participating from 13 countries. The World Champions 2012: Madonna, Russia: Ereshchenko Daria, Gutsunaeva Aminat, Sidorova Yulia, Vanukova Olesya, Atamalova Margarita, Ryazantseva Ksenia, Karnaukh Anastasia, coach Glyzina Saniya, choreographer Irina Zinovka. 7

The Results 13th World Championships 25 th 27 th of June in Cartagena, Spain World Cup competitions: World Cup circuit 2012 In World Cup competitions were totally 32 teams from 13 countries. After final competition three (3) best competitions/team were counted for World Cup final ranking. In Finals the points were given as *1,5 normal world cup points. The World Cup circuit, which consisted of 4 different competitions, was held the seventh time in 2012. 9

It consisted of tree part competitions. Maximum 3 teams/country can represent and earn World Challenge Cup points in every 3 part competition. Exception is that the part competitions organizing country can have 4 teams in host competition. 28 teams from 10 countries were participating during the sixth year in Challenge Cup. 12

COMPETITION SYSTEM Calendar of IFAGG s events 2012 Finances Education International Judging Course, all levels Kisakallio, FIN on September 2011 Deep Technique Course General Assembly Cartagena, Spain on June 2012 Instructors: Polina Nochevnova, Tarja Rasimus-Järvinen, Mall Kalve, Anna-Liisa Parm. Total 40 participants from 15 countries were participating in one of the courses or both courses. IFAGG is non-profit organization. IFAGG membership fees are principal income source. Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture subsidy to IFAGG International was 20 000 in 2012. 17

The membership fees in 2012 were for A-member 1100 EUR, B-member 500 EUR and C-member 300 EUR. Licenses: Judge license 50 EUR, Competitor licenses: Seniors 20 EUR and Juniors 10 EUR IFAGG bookkeeper is Mrs. Ulla Ulan (bought services via Deviation Finland Ltd) and the auditors are Mrs. Johanna Ahlqvist and Mr. Juha Vanhatalo. IFAGG made a loss of -23 181, 24 in 2012.
