22 DEXTER Captain: 2015 Pro Bowl: 2013 RUNNING BACK 5 8 170 LBS COLLEGE: MISSISSIPPI ACQUIRED: UNRESTRICTED FREE AGENT - 2014 (KC) NFL EXPERIENCE (NFL/TITANS): 7/3 HOMETOWN: LARGO, FLA. GAMES PLAYED/GAMES STARTED: 83/27 (PLAYOFFS: 2/0) PRO: Dexter McCluster is an explosive weapon that has seen action at running back, wide receiver and return specialist during his NFL career. The Titans signed the former second-round selection on the first day of free agency in 2014, following his four-year stint with the Kansas City Chiefs. McCluster is a prolific return specialist that was named to his first Pro Bowl after a 2013 campaign in which he returned two punt returns for touchdowns. The 5-foot-8-inch, 170-pounder is a dynamic receiver that has hauled in receptions from the slot, the offensive backfield and as an outside receiver and he should bring versatility and big plays to the Titans offense. CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: In 2015, McCluster was the only NFL player and the first player since Darren Sproles in 2011 with at least 200 yards as a rusher, receiver, kickoff returner and punt returner. In his first season in Tennessee (2014), McCluster played in 14 games and totaled 131 yards on 40 carries as well as 197 yards and a touchdown on 26 receptions. Owns the Chiefs franchise record for highest career punt return average among all players with at least 50 punt returns. His 12.14 yards per punt average (959 yards on 79 returns) ranks ahead of Noland Smith s 11.11 average (589 yards on 53 returns) and he registered two of the three longest punt returns in franchise history. Was named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week for Week 4 in 2013 when he returned four punts for 113 yards including an 89-yard TD in a win against the N.Y. Giants (9/29/13).
