The stone is called the rock and it s heavy. The other players try to send the rock on the house, the circle on the ice. They win many points when it stops on the small circle. The players use sticks on the ice called brooms to move the rock. They wear special shoes, not skates. It isn t an easy sport. Both men and women play it. Canada, Sweden and China have got very good curling teams. Page 5
