NOTICES & INFORMATION 2018 Dues & Fees: You may renew your membership for 2018 at the January 9 Meeting. The various fees are: Annual Membership - $100.00 Work Hours (10 hours per Annual, Associate Life, and Life Member under 65) - $15.00 for every hour not worked Life Member over 65: - no work hour requirement Land Fund - $25.00 per member Your 2018 fee will range from a minimum of $25.00 to a maximum of $275.00, depending upon your personal membership status.

You may also pay your 2018 dues & fees by mailing your 2017 membership card and a check for the applicable amount owed to the club mailing address listed above and on your membership card. A reminder, - if you do not renew by January 1, your gate key will no longer work and you will not have access to the Club grounds & ranges until your dues & fees are paid. CLUBHOUSE & INDOOR RANGE CLEANUP: Saturday, January 13, 9 AM. Work will include the cleaning of the Main Hall, kitchen, rest rooms, entrance area, and Indoor Range. The Indoor Range will also be deleaded. Questions contact Bob Bjerke @ (309) 692-1800. WOMEN ONLY BASIC PISTOL CLASS: A Basic Pistol Certification class will be held Saturday, February 3 rd, 2018. This will be an Instructor Led Class for Women Only sponsored by the Illinois State Rifle Association. Women will learn the fundamental rules of safety, basic shooting techniques, shooting range safety, and more. All firearms, ammunitions, hearing protection and eye protections will be provided as well as lunch and beverages. Questions call Deb Park at (309)369-6238. Registration must be done thru the ISRA. Everything about the class is explained in the flyer shown below. Illinois State Rifle Association Academy Women s Only Basic Pistol Class February 3, 2018 8:00 am 4:30 pm Prerequisite: Students must be Law-Abiding citizens legally qualified to own firearms. FOID Cards are not required to take this class, but students are strongly encouraged to have one. This eight (8) hour course serves the needs of both new and experienced shooters alike. If you re thinking about purchasing a handgun for yourself or a family member and don t know what to buy, this class will address your questions. If you re uncomfortable around firearms and want to overcome your concerns, this is an opportunity to experience firearms safety instruction in a positive, nonthreatening atmosphere. If you learned to shoot on your own or from a friend and just want to polish your technique, or if you have never shot before, this class is for you. This is an excellent opportunity to experience one-on-one training from competent, experienced instructors at an attractive price. What you will learn: The fundamental rules of safe firearms handling and operation The fundamentals of firearm and ammunition identification and selection Basic shooting techniques Shooting range safety Firearms cleaning, maintenance and safe storage Selecting a pistol Safe Storage What to bring: A willingness to learn, a positive attitude, and a desire to have an enjoyable experience Note: 22 Caliber handguns, ammunition, eye and ear protection will be provided. Pen and paper will be provided. Class size is limited. Course fee: $125.00 Note: This class covers all of the State of Illinois Requirements for Day One of the 16 Hour Illinois Concealed Carry Course. Students seeking an Illinois Concealed Carry License may use the certificate issued for successful completion of the Introduction to Shooting Pistol Class as Proof of Prior Training for Day Two of the Illinois Concealed Carry Training.
