JOINING FEE TARIFF OF CHARGES (1st April 2018-31st March 2019) Anyone wishing to join as a Member will be required to pay a one-off joining fee of 500 (currently waived to completely new members). ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION Subscriptions and Affiliation Fees are due annually in advance on 1st April. All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT. Affiliation Fees are payable 1st April to local and national Golf Unions, currently: Men: 14.50 Ladies: 16.75 LOCKER RENTAL Large 71.00 per annum Small 46.00 per annum RESIGNATIONS & RE-JOINERS: At the discretion of the directors a member may resign once & be allowed to rejoin Singing Hills on payment of the current subscription of 1150 ( 830 1/4 31/10 & 320 1/11 31/3/19) pro rata to when rejoining. JUNIOR (Age7-10) Runs from 1/4/18 31/10/18 Annual Subscription: 110.00 plus Affiliation Fees (On payment of an additional 25 Juniors can have annual membership 1/4/18 31/3/19) Juniors can use the driving range & short game facility but are only allowed on the course with an adult. * These membership categories carry additional reciprocal rights benefits with East Sussex National.
BYE LAWS 1. RULES AND ETIQUETTE OF THE GAME (i) The game shall be played in accordance with the rules of the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews. (ii) PRIORITY ON THE COURSE 2 ball matches shall have precedence over, and be entitled to pass on request, any 3 or 4 ball match. Any match playing a whole round is entitled to pass a match playing a shorter round. If a match fails to keep its place on the course and loses more than 1 clear hole on the players in front, it should allow the match following to pass. (iii) LOST BALL When it is apparent that a ball will not easily be found, players searching should immediately wave through the players behind; they should not delay before doing so. 2. DRESS CODE Smart, casual golfing attire is acceptable in the Pavilion, on the course and on the driving range. Only golf shoes may be worn on the course. Gentlemen s shorts must be tailored and worn with socks. APPLICANTS Smart Casual attire is acceptable in the Pavilion Restaurant for evening dinners and functions. Smart jeans are permitted in the Clubhouse, Pavilion Restaurant & Driving Range, but not on the course. Any person considered by the Company not to be complying with the Dress Code will not be served and will be asked to leave the premises. 3. TEE RESERVATIONS All players must report to the Golf Shop before commencing their game. Tee reservations can only be made in compliance with the Company s procedures as published from time to time. Tee reservations can only be made up to 14 days in advance. The names of players must be given and block bookings are not permitted. 4. COURSE COMBINATION Course combination for competition will be decided by the Golf Secretary and for other games and matches by the Golf Shop management. 5. DOGS No dogs are allowed on the course or in the Club House. 6. BILLS Members and visitors must pay every expense they incur before they leave the Pavilion. 7. HANDICAPS AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE PLAYER (i) If a Member is a Member of more than one affiliated club, he must nominate one as his home club and notify that club and the others of his choice. (ii) Members may only have one handicap which shall be allotted and adjusted by his home club. The handicap shall apply elsewhere including other clubs of which the player is a Member. (iii) When playing at an away club in a qualifying competition, a Member must inform the Golf Secretary if he achieves a net score which is lower than the SSS of the course. 8. ELIGIBILITY FOR PLAY No person is allowed to play the course unless his/her subscription is paid up to date, or in the case of a visitor, the appropriate green fee has been paid. Members may introduce guests at a reduced green fee but no one person may be invited more than 6 times per annum. Only one guest may be introduced by each Member at any one time. 9. CHILDREN Children under the age of 11 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times and are only permitted in the Pavilion between the hours of 7.30am and 6.00pm. The parent or guardian shall be responsible for the child s behaviour and conduct. No child under the age of 5 shall be permitted on the COPY course, putting green or driving range. Any child whose behaviour or conduct is not deemed to be acceptable by the Company shall be asked to leave along with the accompanying adult. 10. NOTICE BOARDS Members must not alter or add to the notice boards without prior approval. 11. RESIGNATION OF MEMBERS Any Member wishing to resign shall give at least one month s notice in writing to the Company before the start of the next subscription year on 1 st April. Members resigning mid year shall be liable for the balance of subscriptions due to the end of the year. Failure to notify the intention to resign shall cause the subscription for the next financial year to become due. Applicant s signature & date
