Page 6 Membership Communications - Gary Schaeffer The Rochester Americans Hockey team is starting to take shape for the 2010-2011 season and so is the Rochester Americans Booster Club. Early Bird Membership renewal started August 1st with the form in the August and September Newsletter. The 2009-2010 season we have 207 members, which includes Regular members, Lifetime members and Charter members. Let s increase our numbers so we can support our Hockey and Booster Club Team. When filling out the form remember to give us your e-mail address so we can reduce the cost of printing and mailing the newsletter. GO GREEN! You don t have a computer to get your email you can help by picking up the newsletter at home games during the season to save on postage. Please communicate any special needs so we can better serve the club. The next section keeps the club rolling for anyone interested in helping with the clubs activities. Come and join in the fun with meeting new people and going new places. One more thing we have changed our font to Times New Roman because we have found out you will use less ink in your printer when you need to print. Editor s Note: Thank you for Going-Green by receiving the newsletter by email. Remember when applying for membership to put down your e-mail address. Communication is the name of the game. Please call me about any special needs, like needing a hard copy or your not receiving the email. If you find you are receiving both e-mail and hard copy please advise me so I can correct at amerksfan273@aol.com Here is another way to support the Booster Club. We joined the Staples Rewards where we earn discounts towards our future purchases. We will be collecting used ink cartridges for a $2.00 credit each. See me or any Board Member to donate. To date we have saved $10.00. We are receiving newsletters by e-mail from other clubs both NHL and AHL and AAHLBC. Anyone interested in receiving newsletters from other clubs, I will e-mail them to you. This can only be done with you sending a request to the newsletter by e-mail to amerksfan273@aol.com and a special contact list will be formed.
