Come out to enjoy a fun night with your friends at the Indian Valley Boys & Girls Club! Each age group will follow a fun activity track with professionally trained staff that will help them earn requirements for sports/games related badges! Projects might include painting a mural, planting flowers, organizing gym equipment, helping us prepare for summer camp, and more! Earn community service hours for your school clubs and organizations! Please eat lunch before you arrive. Light snacks will be provided. Pre-register by emailing Miss Tammy at tbendler@npvclub.org by May 11 th so we can help plan and prepare for the day s projects. This event is open to all students and everyone must complete a volunteer waiver to participate. Non-members will require a parent signed guest permission slip. Our Mission Statement To inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.

Events: B&G Club Week April 16 th - 20 th Monday: International Day - (5:15-6:30pm) Each of our six homework rooms will transform into a different country. All members will receive a passport that they can get stamped as they visit different classrooms. In each room, members will have the opportunity to sample a food dish from the native country, or participate in an activity that is common in that country! We hope you join us as we celebrate our world and the wonderful differences each culture has! Tuesday: Messy staff challenges (5:00pm- 6:00pm) The staff is at it again with a series of messy games and challenges that will put their skills to the test! Cheer on your favorite counselor as they compete in events such as messy Twister, eat it or wear it challenge, and the ultimate pie-in-the face competition! Wednesday: Great Futures Career Day (4:30-6:00pm) Members and guests will have the opportunity to walk around the Club and talk to local professionals and universities to learn about the jobs offered in the industries represented as well as the education and skills needed to be successful in each field. Our hope is that this event will inspire all of our members to work hard, get good grades and carry on a path towards great futures. Thursday: Club Field Day Thursday: Club Field Day (5-6:00pm) Join in on the fun as we break up into teams and compete in a field day style event. Cheer on your friends and try your best as all club members will compete in popular field day games! The everyone will receive a sweet treat! Friday: Ice Cream Social Dance Party: (4:30-5:30) We ll all scream for ice cream as we conclude our celebration of Boys & Girls Club Week with a sweet treat for all members and an all-club dance party!

Special Events Tween Night Luau Who: 4 th, 5 th, and 6 th Graders When: Friday, May 18 th Time: 7-9 pm Cost: $5 Tween Night is back! Get your friends and get ready to rock! We ll dance the night away to the most popular songs! Weather permitting, the dance will be held in the skate park. The gyms will also be opened for organized games and activities. The night will include snacks, games, and of course, dancing! Invite your friends! Non-members are invited to join us with a parent signed guest permission slip. Permission slips can be found at www.npvclub.org Spring Fashion Show presented by Club Glam When: Friday, May 4 th Time: 6:00pm Where: Basketball Gym Cost: FREE Our members will strut their stuff and show off the latest fashions at the annual IVBGC Club Glam Fashion Show! Our members will be modeling outfits from favorite retailers in front of friends, family, and the Club. All participants must attend the required rehearsal sessions prior to the Fashion Show. Rehearsal dates will be posted at a later date. Participants are open to both boys and girls; however participants must be at least seven years old. A fashion show permission slip must be signed by a parent or legal guardian before participation is allowed in the event. Permission slips will be handed out at the first rehearsal and are due back before May 2 nd. Rehearsals will be the following dates from 5:30-6:00 pm: Tuesday, April 10 th, Thursday, April 12 th, & Thursday, April 26 th. All participants MUST attend at least one practice and the mandatory dress rehearsal on Wednesday, May 2 nd from 5:00-6:00 pm. 2 nd Annual IVBGC Muddy Fun Run When: Saturday, June 16 th Time: Race begins at 11:00am Check in begins at 10:00am Cost: $15 per participant. Registration deadline to receive a t-shirt is June 1 st Who: All ages & members of the community Let s get messy and muddy! Join the IVBGC staff for a messy and muddy race around the Club! All guests are welcome to complete the 1 mile course. Crawl over, under, and through obstacles designed to get you mucky and messy! Each participant registered before the deadline will receive an event t-shirt. Guests may run the course up to THREE times to get thoroughly muddy! Every participant must sign a waiver for this race! Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present at the race. Waivers can be found online at www.npvclub.org or on our Facebook. Waivers will also be available at both the North Penn Valley and Indian Valley Boys & Girls Clubs.

Weekly Programs Torch When: Mondays, starting April 9 th to June 4 th (No program May 28 th ) Time: 6:00pm 7:00pm Who: All members ages 9-11 years old Cost: Free Want to spend time building friendships, having fun and being an important part of the Club? Join Torch Club! This program, for members 9-11 years old, will give you a sense of belonging, a sense of community, and will teach you leadership skills. Each week Torch Club members will hang out, play games, and plan fun projects. Torch Club members will also participate in fundraisers for service projects and fun field trips! Little Mozarts When: Tuesdays, starting April 10 th to June 5 th (No program May 15 th ) Time: 6:00-7:00 p.m. Who: 6-9 year olds Let the music play throughout the Club! All budding musicians are encouraged to join this Club! Each week members will explore different musical instruments, songs, and learn how music is part of our life! Members will sing, make music and have fun in this creative eight week program! Key Club When: Wednesdays, starting April 4 th to May 23 rd Time: 4:30pm 5:30pm Who: All members ages 12+ years old Cost: Free Join us for the final Key Club session of the school year! Members will have the opportunity to visit local college campuses, tour large corporations, and take awesome field trips to places such as the Philadelphia 76ers basketball game! In addition to this, members will also have the chance to play a pivotal role in making a difference in their community through service trips throughout our region!

Weekly Programs Club Mario When: Wednesdays, starting April 11 th to May 30 th Time: 6:00-7:00 p.m. Who: 6-9 year olds Team up with Mario and Luigi to save the Princess from the evil Bowser! Each week members will take part in fun, Super Mario inspired activities like playing real life Mario Kart, making Mario crafts, and learning what it takes to be an iconic hero! Members will learn about and dress up like their favorite characters, take part in Mario challenges and have fun! Shutterbugs Photography Club When: Wednesdays, starting April 11 th to May 30 th Time: 6:00pm 7:00pm Who: 9-13 year olds Cost: Free Take time to stop and look at the world through a camera s lens! In this program members will learn the basics of photography. This includes defining apertature, shutter speed, and ISO. Each week the group will focus on different styles of photography including landscape, macro and portrait photography. At the end, we ll celebrate the member s artistic success with a Club gallery debut of each member s artwork!

Athletics & Fitness Hot Shots Basketball League Hot Shots Basketball will teach your child the fundamentals of the game and good sportsmanship, with a focus on fun! If signups permit, players will be assigned a team that will play on a rotating schedule. If signups are not sufficient for teams, pickup style games will be played each week. A game schedule will be handed out on the first night and players will be informed of their assigned team via phone and e-mail prior to the first game. Cost: $20 league fee plus a 2018 Club membership fee of $20 for any non-current members. A late fee of $10 will be applied to the basketball registration fee if your child is registered after March 24th! PeeWees (6-8 year olds) When: Mondays starting April 9 th to June 4 th (No program May 28 th ) Time: 6:00pm -6:45 pm (If a rotating game schedule is played, games will be 6:00-6:45 and 6:45-7:30) Juniors (9-12 year olds) When: Tuesdays starting April 10 th to June 5 th (No program May 15 th ) Time: 6:00pm -6:45pm (If a rotating game schedule is played, games will be 6:00-6:45 and 6:45-7:30) Teen Basketball Open Gym When: Wednesdays starting April 11 th to May 30 th Time: 6:00pm 7:00pm Who: All members ages 13+ Cost: Free Teen basketball players can enjoy an extra hour of open gym time each week! Work on your shots or practice your basketball game. All participants must pre-register for this FREE program. Just Dance When: Tuesdays, starting April 10 th to June 5 th (No program May 15 th ) Time: 6:00-7:00 p.m. Who: 9-12 year olds Dance into spring at IVBGC! Each week members will learn the basic steps to different styles of dance that will be combined to create a fun, choreographed group dance! Members will perform for the Club at the end of the program to show off what they learned!

Athletics & Fitness Tiny Tots All Starz When: Fridays, starting April 13 th to June 1 st Time: 6:00pm 7:00pm Who: 4-5 year olds (4 & 5 year olds receive a FREE 2018 Indian Valley Boys & Girls Club membership) Cost: $10 (includes a Tiny Tots T-shirt) Tiny Tots Sports is a program to introduce our youngest members to our main sports- soccer, hockey, baseball, basketball and football. In a fun-filled environment, we encourage our little athletes to try their best during the teaching of form and execution of drills. Of course, we will also play a lot of games! We explain how important it is to follow directions, play as a team, and have superior sportsmanship while having fun! Backyard Game Olympics When: Thursdays, starting April 5 th to May 31 st (No program May 24 th ) Time: 6:00-7:00 p.m. Who: 9-12 year olds Are you the champion of corn hole? Do you rule at quoits? Do you dominate ladder ball? Join your Club friends for weekly competitions in traditional (and non-traditional) backyard games. Each week members will learn, play and compete in backyard games. We ll make teams and keep score over the course of the program to see who is the gold medal winning Backyard Game Olympic team! Floor Hockey When: Thursdays, starting April 5 th to May 31 st (No Program May 24 th ) Time: 6:00pm 6:45 pm (If a rotating game schedule is played, games will be 6:00-6:45 and 6:45-7:30) Who: 6-9 year olds Cost: $20 league fee plus a 2018 Club membership fee of $20 for any non-current members. Join us for street hockey! During this program participants will learn the basics of the game while having fun with friends. If signups permit, players will be assigned a team that will play on a rotating schedule. Games will be held either 6:00-6:45 pm or 6:45-7:00 pm based on the schedule. If signups are not sufficient for teams, pickup style games will be played each week. A game schedule will be handed out on the first night and players will be informed of their assigned team via phone and e-mail before the first game. A late fee of $10 will be applied to the hockey registration fee if your child is registered after March 23 rd! Pads are permitted, but not required. Skates are not permitted in this program. Participants must wear sneakers. Sticks will be provided or you may bring your own! All participants that register before the deadline will receive a free t-shirt!

At our summer camp, your child will be sure to have a rewarding and fun filled summer. Our camp is professionally run and provides quality care in a supportive environment. Your child will pick and choose from a variety of structured recreational and educational activities each day. Camp will feature: Arts and Crafts and gym activities in our two gyms as well as our field out back Games Room Challenges A weekly fun dress up day Pancake Tuesday Kona Ice Truck Fridays Staff Game Show Challenges Camp Scavenger Hunt and Camp Air Band Competition All Camp parties such as Camp Ho-Down, Olympic Day, Camp Luau, Camp Campfire, Camp Carnival and more! Campers will have the opportunity to take exciting field trips to different destinations throughout the summer. All trips are an additional fee and may have age restrictions. Can t make a whole week, or only need a half week? This year, our camp will offer two and three day weeks at a lower cost to better serve your family needs! *Registration for this year s summer camp begins Monday, March 5 th! Registration remains open until all spots are full. In order to register, a minimum deposit of first week s session must be paid on the day of registration, as well as $20.00 for a current 2018 membership, if needed. All balances must be paid by Friday, June 8 th, 2018. * Our camp is open to children ages 6 to 13. Campers may be dropped off at 7:30 am but no later than 9:00 am. Campers arriving after 9:00 am will not be allowed to attend that day. All campers MUST be picked up by 6:30 pm. Each session is $110 per week for a full week, $75 for three days, and $50 for two days Camp fee includes a t-shirt per camper per summer. Registration must be done in person All camp registration fees are nonrefundable. Field trip signups will be on the Monday of the week they are held. Field trips have limited spaces, age restrictions, and are on a first come, first serve basis. Cash or check ONLY

A great insight on what makes our staff excellent! - Each session is $110 per week for a full week, $75 for three days, and $50 for two days - Counselors in Training may attend from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm - Ages 14-18 CANDIDATES MUST APPLY: Applicants will be reviewed by the Camp Director and interviews will be conducted. Applicants are not guaranteed a position. Counselor in Training paperwork is available to pick up at the Indian Valley Boys & Girls Club.
