Game #1 Deshler - 43 Nelson - 0 The second team played in three quarters of the game. They played a full second quarter. DR
Game #2 Deshler - 19 Exeter - 0 The gold-shirted boys from Deshler did it again last Friday afternoon by a score of 19 to 0 when they took to the air for three touchdowns in the first half of a fast moving game with Exeter. DR
Baton Twirlers Kathleen Holle, Ruby Lentz, Norgene Schwantz, and Harriet Werner, will perform between halves this Friday, when Deshler meets Edgar. instruction of Melvin Struve. DR
Game #3 Deshler 19 Edgar 0 Just before the gun ended the half, Loetterle intercepted a pass.and raced down the sidelines for 70 yards. DR
Game #4 Deshler 25 Red Cloud 0 a fast-moving pass-lateral play from Loetterle to Schultz to Koerwitz was good for 45 yards and a touchdown. DR

Game #5 Deshler 7 Fairbury 0 Immediately after Deshler scored Fairbury threatened with a passing attack which carried to the 13-yard line, where Rucklos recovered a Fairbury fumble to save the day. DR
Game #6 Deshler 6 Davenport 0 Although Davenport outdowned Deshler 8 to 6, they were unable to deliver the knockout punch, as they three times marched to within the ten-yard line of Deshler. DR
Game #7 Deshler 25 Superior 0 Playing their last and probably the best game of their high school career were five seniors, Schultz and Rucklos at ends, Mussman at tackle, Wilkening at guard, and Holle at center. A senior reserve end, George Schmidt also played his last high school football. DR

Deshler Grid Star Lauded Omaha Morning Herald Mussman is the best tackle in the state. All season Coach Littau had Oscar carrying anvils to school just to keep in condition. The kid was so anxious to make good he toted two in each pocket. When teams tried an end run, Oscar just reached out either hand. When they tried the middle, opposing back bounced off Oscar s chest for a five-yard loss.
