CHAMPIONSHIP DATES June 25, 26, 27, 28 2015 (actual Championships) 3. VENUE AND HALL Palasport Flaminio - Via Flaminia, 28 47900 Rimini 4. GUESTS All ITF practitioners are to respect and follow the rules as set forth by the Founder of TAEKWON-DO, Gen. Choi Hong Hi 5. COMPETITORS Competitors must present their national passport at the weigh-in; All Competitors must show medical certificates from their doctor, certifying that they are physically and mentally fit to compete in the Championship; All competitors must be in possession of a blue and red pair of safety equipment (other colours will not be allowed); It is the participants responsibility to have full insurance coverage for all eventualities; ITF- ITALIA and the organizing committee will not be responsible for any injury or loss of participants before, during and after the Championship; If any competitor fails a doping test on a medical examination, the Organizing Committee will disqualify the competitor from competition and the Championship. Further disciplinary action may be taken against the competitor by the Disciplinary Committee at a later date; The competitors must be of the age indicated in the category on the first day of the World Championships; In the individual Sparring, Juniors will be divided into two groups: from 13 to 15 1

years old and from 16 to 17 years old. The actual age of the participants on the first day of the Championships will be considered in order to put them in the category they belong to (the category is not based on the year of birth); By e-mail, every competitor, his/her Team members, VIP s, Umpires and Doctors have to send one passport photos (specifying the name and surname), as soon as possible, latest on 2015-03-15. Without an actual photo, there will be no way to participate at the Tournament. 6. LIABILITY AND INSURANCE Participants must have insurance against medical expenses, accidents and loss of personal belongings. The organizers can in no way be held responsible. The competitors are required to fill in a form to absolve the organizer of responsibility. 7. UMPIRES Every participating Country has to provide as many Umpires as possible, to guarantee an efficient organisation of the Tournament; At the Tournament, food and drinks will be provided for All the Umpires; Umpires must attend the Umpire meeting on Thursday, June 25, 2014 at 08:30am hrs in the Umpires/Meeting Hall 8. COACHES Coaches are responsible for the technical preparation of the athletes For individual and team matches, only one coach is allowed in the square. He/She must wear a tracksuit and gymnastic shoes. Only one coach is allowed to present an official protest. Coaches must attend the Coaches meeting on Thursday, June 25, 2014 at 11:30am hrs in the Coaches/Meeting Hall 9. TOURNAMENT RULES The official competition rules can be found on the website: www.taekwondoitalia.it 10. SYSTEM OF TOURNAMENT Competition will be decided by the pyramid elimination system Individual competitors may participate in one or all of the categories For Sparring Matches, Each Country can field as many competitors in each weight class as desired 11. COMPETITORS DRESS CODE If the competitors wish to have the Country s name on Dobok, it is recommended that they print it on the back under the Tree; Sponsorship logos we recommend on the right side of the chest at a recommended size of 10cm x 10cm; 2

National Flag we recommend to be stitched to the right sleeve on the side approximately 2cm below the shoulder seam. 12. AWARDS FOR PARTICIPANTS All participants will receive a certificate of participation signed by the ITF- ITALIA President, President of the Organizing Commiteee and by the greatest Leaders who are taking part in the Worlds; Finalist of specified divisions and categories will receive Diplomas and Medals; 13. CEREMONIES National Flag we recommend to be stitched to the right sleeve on the side approximately 2cm below the shoulder seam. During the opening and closing ceremonies the participants can wear the ITF Dobok or ITF's Dobok stile (similar) or, alternatively, the national or school traninig-suit; 14. NATIONAL ANTHEM AND NATIONAL FLAG Every participating country or school will provide the national anthem/flag 16. PASSPORT AND VISAS A valid passport/ identity document is required for all persons entering the Italy. Visitors of some nationalities must obtain a visa prior to arrival.
