Officiating Your team will provide Minor Officials for each game in which you are scheduled to play. Your team must provide 1 Scorekeeper and 1 Linesman per match. If players assume either of these roles, they are still eligible to play and may be substituted in to play. Your team may wish to have a few parent volunteers take care of this duty for your team. Tie-Breaking Procedure Based on Volleyball Canada Rules, if two or more teams are tied at the end of round robin play, the following criteria will be applied in order: a) The team having the best ratio of won/lost matches, considering matches between tied teams, will be ranked higher; b) The team having the best ratio of won/lost games, considering matches played between the tied teams, will be ranked higher; c) The team having the best ratio of won/lost games, considering all matches of the round, will be ranked higher; d) The team having the best ratio of points for/against, considering games played between tied teams, will be ranked higher; e) The team having the best ratio of points for/against, considering all games played during the round, will be ranked higher; f) As determined by the Organizing Committee (e.g. extra game, toss of coin, etc.) Match Preparation Please have your team ready to play on time.
