The entry fees must be paid at the same time as the entries are submitted. The entry fees will not be refunded in the event of a withdrawal. The Member Association that enters a player into a Circuit tournament is responsible for paying the entry fees for that player. For all the players withdrawing in the time between the entry and the beginning of the Tournament the Organisers can invoice the entry fee to the relevant Member Association. It is required that every event in a particular BEC Elite Circuit tournament has at least 8 competitors (i.e. actual competitors, not merely entries). If the required number of competitors is not met, this particular event shall not count towards any ranking, i.e. BEC Elite Circuit Ranking and BWF World Ranking. In accordance with regulation 9.4 in BWF Statutes, Section 5.3.3.1: World Ranking System, an event must contain at least one entry from a Member Association other than the hosting Association. If an event does not contain at least one entry from a Member Association other than the hosting Association, this particular event shall not count towards any ranking. BADMINTON EUROPE is not liable for any costs incurred by third persons (players, coaches, umpires, team managers etc.) because of an event not having enough competitors to count for the rankings. Players can not be entered unless they already have a BWF ID-number. In case you wish to enter players who do not have a BWF ID-number, please contact the BWF office well in advance of the tournament, so that the players concerned can get a BWF ID-number before the closing date of the tournament. No late entries will be accepted. Organizers are allowed to refuse entries if players have outstanding fees from a previous year. Events Men s Singles, Women's Singles, Men s Doubles, Women's Doubles, Mixed Doubles. The number of players/pairs to be accepted for the main events in Singles 32 and in Doubles 24. System of the Competition K.O. system according to the Laws of Badminton and Competition Regulations of the BWF. Eligibility Participation is open to players of any National Association recognized by the BWF. 4

The Organizer will pay the prize money in cash at the prize giving ceremony to the players/pairs competing in the finals. Closing date 10 th April 2018 Withdrawals Please ensure that the organizer will be informed immediately when a player has to withdraw, together with the reason for withdrawal. Any withdrawal after the Sunday immediately preceding the draw, for any reason whatsoever, renders the Member Association concerned liable to an amount of USD 150.00 for the inconvenience caused by the withdrawal. Last day of withdrawal without penalty 23 April 2018 Any player not showing up at the tournament, without having been withdrawn in advance, renders the Member Association concerned liable to an additional amount of US$ 500,00 for the inconvenience caused by the no show (as defined in BWF General Competition Regulations). 5
Visa Draw If you need Visa for Slovenia please ask the Slovenian Badminton Association for the official Invitation letter. It is advised to arrange the VISA in time. Draw will be made by Badminton Europe. World ranking date used for M&Q report 12 April 2018 M&Q report release date - 13 April 2018 World ranking date used for seeding and draws 19 April 2018 Draw date 24 April 2018 Date for the team managers meeting : Wednesday 9 May 2018, 20.00 M hotel Condition of play Local transport The tournament will be played in full accordance with the Laws of Badminton and the Competition Regulations adopted by the BWF as well as the Badminton Europe Circuit Regulation. Competitors must be prepared to play at the times determined for the events for which they have entered. Competitors will be scratched if not ready to play when called. Provided by the organizer free between the airport (Ljubljana Joze Pucnik Airport), train stations (Ljubljana) and the hotel and the sports hall. The organizer is not able to offer transport for those players and officials who are staying not in the official hotel! Players shall not plan their departure less than two (2) hours after their last match is planned to conclude. If a player is unable to compete due to early departure, he/she will be penalised by removal of Elite Circuit ranking points and shall not be awarded prizes or prize money. BADMINTON EUROPE shall propose to BWF that the gained BWF ranking points are also removed. (Regulation 9.5 in Badminton Europe's Circuit Instructions) 6
Medical service A physician will be present in the Sports hall during the tournament. Drug testing Clothing and Advertising According to Slovenian Law Drug Testing may be carried out on a random basis at any time. Advertising on clothing and color of clothing are regulated by BWF Competition Regulations 20 to 24 and Badminton Europe Elite Circuit Regulation 18. In applying these regulations, the decision of the referee shall be final. The name on the back of the shirts is mandatory for all matches at all times during play in both the qualification and the main draw. - A player failing to wear the name on the back of his/her shirt when mandatory shall be penalised by an administrative fine of 100,00 EUR. It is mandatory - that partners in doubles wear the same colour of the T-shirt and shorts/skirts at all time during play in both the qualification and the main draw. Failing to do so shall result in an administrative fine of 100,00 EUR. Insurance The organizer declines responsibility and covering of costs for possible injuries or other damages. It is up to each participant to insure himself. 7
