The story of BUTORA began in 1999, when we started to work as specialists in the design and manufacturing of climbing shoes for other brands. After several years of gaining experience, in 2014 we decided to create our own path and to set out on the adventure of developing our own brand. BUTORA. Our team came together thanks to climbing. We fought hard, we learnt, and what's more important: we challenged ourselves to create real change. Butora climbing shoes give us comfort, strength, good performance and precision. Without pain. Because in Butora we manufacture climbing shoes that adjust to all climbers, levels and needs. Our main goal is for you to try them on. Once you try them on, you won't ever want to take them off. QUALITY OF MATERIALS In-house manufactured rubber with excellent adhesion and durability. German leather lining, which absorbs humidity and offers comfort. ««This logo means the lining of the climbing shoe is 100% made of eco-friendly hemp: the most sustainable option. Thanks to this fabric, the climbing shoe ts perfectly from day one, plus it is odour absorbing. QUALITY OF FINISHES 5 Glue d We use up to 5 threads of different thickness in the manufacture of our climbing shoes: the nest for the seams that are in contact with the foot, the thickest for those parts that hold the strongest tensions. A perfect nish in all the assembled parts. Clean INNOVATION The 3D midsole has been patented by Butora. It offers greater comfort, sensitivity and consistency. Depending on the model and even the size of the shoe, sole thickness varies, thus always keeping the same stiffness and feel. Half midsole. Full midsole. We have introduced breathable fabric in the design and manufacture of climbing shoes for the rst time. Neo-Knit fabric that allows perspiration to evaporate and provides greater comfort to your feet. In the models Endeavor, Comet, and Bora, we recommend to choose half a size larger than your actual size. In the case of Acro and Sensa, it is best to choose your actual size for sport climbing but half a size smaller for bouldering.
