GRAND NATURE SLAM IN NORTH AMERICA GRIZZLY & POLAR BEARS & BELUGA WHALES Once arrived in Vancouver, the young and dynamic economy capital of Beautiful British Columbia, as the State car registration number plate reads, you'll immediately have a first contact with West Coast culture, with its lively sculptures and its Totems welcoming travelers arriving from far

out lands. This exploration travel, that starts right fr om luxuriant Canada far west, is going to taste much more like a naturalistic expedition than a normal tourist tour. You'll be directed those North American areas th at are acknowledged as the most fascinating and interesting in the world as far as fauna is concerned. Great bears, the greatest carnivores on the planet, and whales, the greatest sea mammals, will be the target of this exploration tour. And your way back from this travel, you'll bring with you, beside an unforgettable travel memory, a gamebag full of valuable photographic pictures, as fantastic scenes will unfold in front of you, like those shown by Discovery Channel and National Geographic, the two great world ecology institutions that have recently taken important documentaries in these sites and with the same operators that collaborate with us. But you will be the stars in this expeditions, well directed by trusty guides and fully equipped with all is needed to satisfy your photographer s curiosity and your hunger for knowledge, and, of course, with all is needed for your safety too. Each excursion will be preceded by briefings on the environment that you're about to watch by the guides themselves, some of whom are ethologists and naturalistic photography experts. And they will also be your holiday angels as every step, every movement in the forest or in the tundra will be carefully watched by them in order to ensure you the highest personal safety. Vancouver and grizzly bears of the Great bear rainforest The first s tage of your itinerary will take to Vancouver Island, that stands out right in front of Vancouver city. From there, in a fascinating flight on a seaplane, you'll fly over Vancouver Bay and, flying on along spectacular Georgia

Straits, you'll arrive at Campbell River, where you'll be welcomed by our guide and be accommodated at a deluxe hotel. The morning after, escorted by our guide, you'll take off on board another seaplane toward your deluxe lodge in the bordering area with the Great Bear Rainforest, where 4 spectacular nature nature watching days await you in the jewel of Canadian naturalis m, as this area was defined. And, as a matter of facts, this park has been acknowledged by WWF and UNO as the most beautiful Temperate Rainforest Park in the world. The wealth o f fauna here is really one of a kind. Grizzly bears, together with black bears, are the stars of this area: there so many of them! And many are also forest Grey wolves, bald eagles, bull elks and 3 species deers, as the great black tail deers. In Johnston Straits ocean waters, the stars are killer whales (but this beautiful whales have really been mistitled!), different kind of dolphins, sea lions and many kind of seals. Everyday, for four days, you'll go on a excursion together with naturalism experts. You'll be lead to many sites inside the park, where Grizzly Bears and other animals live their lives. Expeditions will take place on board boats and dinghies to bet-

ter reach some sites. All meals that will be se rved will be up to the deluxe quality of the wonderful lodge standards, that is to say a finest West Coast cuisine based on healthy seafood. There will also be other kind of excursions during these 4 days, like forest mountain climbing and a boat cruise/expedition along the coast in famous Johnston Straits. You'll also have the chance of practicing kayak paddling alo ng the Straits, with the exciting possibility of having a close encounter with dolphins, sea lions and also with famed...ki ller whales! But don't worry: there's never been any accident with these wonderful creatures. Every day, coming back from the excursion, some of which might

last up to 10 hours, the warmth of your beautiful lodge will welcome you back: a relaxing bath in your hot tub is just what you will need after a day of wearing but incredibly exciting activities. Then, a high cuisine service will be the right closing of an unforgettable day In the fourth day, you'll go back to Campbell where your guide will be waiting for you and will take you to board your flight back to Vancouver Arrival in arctic tundra Hudson bay: among polar bears and beluga whales The morning after, from Vancouver, you will leave to Winnipeg and, from there, you'll fly to Churchill. If you want, in Churchill it will be possible to join an excursion on an helicopter for a panoramic flight over the arctic tundra before going to your lodge. Heritage lodge, the starting point of our adventure in semi-arctic tundra, the only quality lodge in the bay, is strategically placed on Hudson Bay coast, near Seal River estuary, in an ideal position for one of the best whale watching session in the world. Seal River estuary is about six marine miles far from the lodge, and that's where, in summer time, thousands of white beluga whales gather. Furthermore, thanks to its distance from Churchill (about 50 km and 35 minutes flight), in summertime, polar bears can be watched in the bay, together with a range of wild animal and plant species, among which rare birds and many kinds of birds of prey, foxes and wolves that spend their summer here feeding on the rich fauna and

lush vegetation in summer. All that turns this excursion into one of the most exclusive in the semi-arctic tundra. It takes place from beginning of July to mid-august The great adventure between the whiteness of bears and belugas and m any birds During this fascinating adventure you'll experience the emotion of being face to face with a host of animals, among which white belugas and polar bears stand out for their beauty and charm. All in the same day, in a summer arctic tundra exploding with its thousand color amidst a really fantastic flora and fauna.. You'll watch... and take pictures of one among the most fascinating naturalistic events: large herds of elegant migrating caribous that, by the thousands, every year, reach the coast of Hudson Bay, to feed on the sweet and tender summer lichens. Their main enemies are polar bears, and even worse for them are the tundra raiders : formidable arctic wolves, in packs, attack caribous, isolating the weakest among them. So, keep your eyes and ears open to see and hear wolves howling in the distance. Beautiful arctic foxes would almost go unnoticed, among so many other stars of local fauna. The same goes for great eagles, that are too raiders of caribous herds, chasing their newborns. Finally, as already mentioned, a lot of birds fly over this land, as the white arctic grouse, Smith and Ross Longspur, Bonaparte Seagulls, ecc...as a matter of fact, it is not unusual for birdwatchers to spot 100 species of birds during their week long stay here..

Swimming with enchanting belugas Yes! You'll live the incredible and exciting experience to swim among these grea t white whales. You'll hear their sqeeez, their calling sounds, one of the most melodious in the large world of sea mammals. You'll be cheered by their relaxing presence and, after understanding their sweet and curious nature, you'll fall in love with them. It's not hard to imagine how you'll be touched by such an experience. You'll only have to wear our special thermal suit and, firmly attached to the boat with a rope, you'll calmly swim among these nice and fascinating whales. They're so friendly that they let you swim with and among them. The group of ethologists and photographers guiding you will help you understand this spectacular nature allowing you to capture rare images of this fascinating moments with your camera. This is what awaits you in the areas that are considered among the most uncontaminated on the planet: the wild British Columbia coast and semi-arctic Canadian tundra More info on this offer: lerevehouse@gmail.com Visit our website: www.lerevehouseadventure.com
