There is none worthy of worship besides Him. Upon Him do I trust and He is the Sustainer of the Mighty Throne. Rasûlullâh said, Whoever recites the following Du a seven times in the morning and evening, Allah will suffice for him with regard to all his worries of both the worlds. I seek protection from Allâh, the All-Hearing and All-Knowing from Shaytân, the rejected one. He is Allâh, the one besides whom there is no deity. He is the Knower of the apparent and unseen things. He is Most Compassionate, Most Merciful. He is Allâh, the one besides whom there is no deity. He is the Sovereign, the Being free from past defects, the Being who grants safety, the Giver of peace, the Protector, the Exalted, the Reformer, the Truly Great. Allâh is free from that partners which they attribute. He is Allâh, the Creator, The Designer, the Fashioner. For Him are all beautiful names. Whatever is in the heavens and earth glorify Him. He is the Exalted, the Most Wise. If the above is read in the morning, Allâh will appoint seventy thousand angels who will seek forgiveness on the reader s behalf until the evening. If the reciter passes away on that day, he will pass away as a martyr. Whoever reads it in the evening will attain the same reward. (Tirmidhî) P a g e 6

Protection from all types of Harm Recite 3 Times م ء ف األ م رض م ع ا م سم ه ش م س ب اهلل ا ل ي ل ي ض و ل ف الس م آء و ه و الس م يع ال م ع ل يم In the name of Allâh, in the protection of whose name nothing in the heavens and in the earth can cause any harm. And Allâh alone is The All- Hearing, All-Knowing. If read thrice in the morning and evening, nothing will harm the reciter. (Abû Dâwûd, Tirmidhi, Ibn Hibbân) P a g e 7

Sayyidul Istigfaar ا ن أ ن و ن م ت ر ب ل هلإ إ ل أن م ت خ ل م قت ا لل ذ ه م أ م عت ط ا ا م ست و م عد ك م ع م هد ك و ا ل ع أن بد م ك و ع م ا ص ن م عت أب م وء ل ك ب ن م عم ت ك أع وذ ب ك م م ن ش ل وأب م وء ب ذ ن م ب ف ا م غف م ر ل ف إن ه ل ي م غف ر ع ن وب م ت ا ل إ ل أن O Allâh, You are my Creator. There is no deity but You. You have created me and I am Your servant. As far as possible I shall try to fulfil the promise I have made with You. I seek Your protection from the evil of my actions. I admit guilt over my sins and I acknowledge Your favours over me. O Allâh, please forgive me, for verily none can forgive my sins but You. Rasulullah mentioned that whosoever passes away during the day or night after reciting the above Istigfaar, passes away as a martyr. (Bukhari) P a g e 8

م Protection of Din, Family & Property Recite 3 Times م س ب اهلل ل ع م و ل م ي و أ م ه ل م و ن م ف س م و و د ي م ن م ا ل In the name of Allâh (i.e. I place in the protection of Allâh) my Dîn (religion), my life, my children, my family and my wealth. (Ibn Asâkir) P a g e 9

Eternal Joy Bestowed by Allah Recite 3 Times م م سالم د م ين ا و ب م ح م د )ص ل ب ا ل ا و ب ر ض م يت ب اهلل ر ا ب ي ( ن م يه و سل م اهلل ع ل I am pleased with Allâh as my Creator, with Islam as my Dîn, and with Muhammad as my Nabi. Whosoever recites the above thrice in the morning, and thrice in the evening, Almighty Allâh shall take it upon Himself to please this person on the Day of Qiyâmah. (Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaibah) Note: The aforementioned duâs should be recited morning and evening. The remainder should be recited once daily. P a g e 10

م Recite 3 Times P a g e 11 س م بح ان اهلل ول و م م مد ه و ل ح ال م ع ظ م يم و ب ا ل ب اهلل ل ق و ة Pure is Allah, the Mighty, and praise belongs only to Him. There is no power to do good, and there is no power to abstain from evil, except with the help of Allâh. By reciting this duâ, one will be saved from leprosy, insanity, blindness and paralysis. (Ibnus Sunni, Mu jamul Kabîr of Tabrânî) Recite 3 Times لل ذ ه م ا وذ ص و ن م ون ا م ل ب و ا ل ع ب ك م ن ا ن أ ام م م سق ام و س يي ء األ ال م ج ذ O Allah, I seek Your protection from white liver disease, insanity, leprosy and all other fatal diseases. (Abû Dawûd, Nasaî)

Recite 7 Times ل ح م ول و ل ق و ة ا ل ب اهلل There is no power to do good, and there is no power to abstain from evil, except with the help and assistance of Allâh. This dua is a treasure from Jannah, which has come from under the Arsh (Throne) of Allâh. When one reads it, Allâh becomes pleased and announces, My servant has surrendered and handed all his affairs to Me! (Tabrâni in Awsat) The Ulama have advised that one recites this dua at least seven times daily. P a g e 12

(Muslim) ل ذ له م ا ن ا ع وذ ب ك ا آء و س م وء ال م ق الش ق م هد ا لم الء و د رم م م ن ج ضاء و ش م م عد ا ء ة ا ل ات م ك O Allâh, I seek your protection from unbearable trials, affliction of wretchedness, every decision which is harmful for me and from the rebukes of the enemy. O Allâh, make Your love greater to me than the love of myself, my family and cold water. (Tirmidhi) ل م وب ث ب م ت ق م ل ب ق ل ب ا م لق ي ا م د ي م ن ك م ل ع O Controller of hearts! Make my heart firm on Your dîn! (Tirmidhi) P a g e 14

(Tirmidhi) لل ذ ه م ا و ذ إ ن ك ع ف م ع ن م فو ف ا م عف ت ب ال م ع O Allah, Verily You are Oft-Forgiving, You love to forgive, so forgive me. (Tirmidhi) لل ذ ه م إ ن م أ م سأ ل ك ا د ال م ه ى ال م غ ن ق و اتل اف ف و ال م ع و O Allah, I ask from You guidance, piety, modesty and independence. (Muslim) P a g e 15

م م م م ر ار اب انل ذ ع ار و ة انل ع وذ ب ك م م ن ف م تن الل ه م إ ن أ ة ف م تن ب و ش ال م غ ن و ش اب الق ذ ب و ع ة الق و ف م تن ف م تن ة الف م قر O Allah, I seek Your protection from the trial and punishment of the Fire, the trials and punishment of the grave, and the evils of wealth and poverty. (Bukhâri) ز ن و أ ع وذ ب ك ا ل ع وذ ب ك م ن ال م ه م و الل ه م إ ن أ ع وذ ب أ ب ك م ن ا لم و ال م كس ل م ن ال جز م ع م و ة م و ق هم ب ل ع وذ ب ك م م ن غ م و أ ا لم ي ن ا ل و خل الر ج ال O Allâh, I seek Your protection from grief, worry, helplessness and laziness. I seek Your protection from cowardice, stinginess, being overpowered by debt and being overpowered by other men. (Abû Dâwûd) P a g e 16

م م ع ب ك م ن وذ ب و أ ه م إ ن أ ع الل وذ ب ك م ن ا ل ر م ل الع م رذ ر د إ ل أ م ن أ وذ ب ك م م ن أ ا ل خل م و أ الق ب اب ذ ع ا و ا ل م ني ة ع وذ ب ك م م ن ف م تن و أ O Allâh, I seek Your protection from cowardice, stinginess, becoming senile, and from the tests of this world and the punishment of the grave. (Bukhârî) م أ م سأل م إ ن ا لل ذ ه ك الص ح ة و ض ح م سن ال م خل ق م و الر م األ م ان ة و ال م ع ف ة و ب ال م ق م در O Allâh, I ask You for good health, chastity, trustworthiness, good character and to be pleased with Taqdîr (predestination). (Mu jamul Kabîr, Bazzâr) P a g e 17

م لل ذ ه م إ ن م أ م سأل ك إ م يم ان ا ل ي م رت د و ن ع م يم ا ل ي م نف د ا م م يه و س ل م ف م أل ع ل ص ل اهلل ع د ق ة م م اف ر و م ة ال م خ ل ج ن O Allâh, I ask You for such Imân that shall never leave me, for such bounties that shall never come to an end, and to be kept in close proximity to Rasulullâh in the highest levels of Jannah. (Sahîh Ibn Hibbân, Ahmad) P a g e 18

This is a dua made by Hadhrat Abdullâh ibn Masood. ا ك ف م ل ب ر ض ا خ ص م وم ن ا و ت ن نوب ا ذ م ا م غف م ر نل ا لل ذ ه O Allâh, forgive our sins and take responsibility to make happy those who shall wish to lay a case against us (on the Day of Qiyâmah) Allâmah Ibn Hajr Asqalâni (rahimahullah), while discussing the Hadith regarding a man who received pardon despite having murdered one hundred people, explained that despite having not sought pardon from the one hundred people he had killed, he still attained entry into the mercy of Allâh, since Almighty Allâh took it upon Himself to repay all those murdered, on behalf of the killer. (Fathul Bârî) In the light of this, our Mashâikh have prescribed the above dua, wherein one, together with making an earnest attempt to fulfil the rights of all fellow man, asks Almighty Allâh to take P a g e 19

responsibility to please and earn for him the pardon of all those whose rights he tramples or does not fulfil and dies without seeking their pardon. ك ف ل م ع م إ ن ذ ا ن ا لل ذ ه ور ه م م و ن ع م وذ ب ك م نم م ور ه مم ش O Allâh, I place You at the necks of my enemy, and I seek Your protection from their evil. (Abû Dâwûd) ا ا و آم م ن ر م و ع ت ن ات ن م ور م ع م ا م س ت ا لل ذ ه O Allâh, cover my faults and keep my heart at ease. (Ahmad, Bazzâr) P a g e 20

م ا ق ن ة ح سن ة و م ا لخ ر ف ا ح سن ة و ا ل م ني ا ف ا آت ن ن ر ب ار ع ذ اب انل O our Creator, give us the best of this world, the best of the Hereafter and protect us from the punishment of the Fire. (Surah Baqarah) ا ر ن اع ه و ا ا ا ذ تب م قن ا و ا م رز ق ا ال م ح ق ح ر ن ا لل ذ ه م ا ا ل اط ل ب اط ال و ا م رز م قن ا ا م جت ن اب ه O Allâh, let us see the truth as the truth and bless us with the ability to follow it, and let us understand the wrong to be wrong and bless us with the ability to abstain from it. (Sharhul-Ihyâduâ of Abû Bakr ) ا لل ذ ه م حاس ب م ن م س ي ا ا ي م ح س اب O Allâh, let our reckoning be easy. (Ibn Hibbân, Ibn Khuzaimah, Mustadrak) P a g e 21

م م م سن م كر ك و ح ذ م كر ك و ش م ل ع ا لل ذ ه م أع ن اد ت ك ع ب O Allâh, help me in remembering You, in appreciating Your favours, and in worshipping You in the best possible manner. (Abû Dâwûd) م وذ ب ك ل م ات اهلل اتل ام ات م م ن غ ض ب ه و م ن أع اط ي ات الشي ز م اد ه و م م ن ه ع ب ع ق اب ه و م م ن ش م ون م ض و أ م ن ي I seek protection through the complete commands of Allâh, from the anger of Allâh, His punishment, the evil of man, the whisperings of shaitân and from having the shayâteen coming close to me. (Tirmidhi) P a g e 22

(Abû Dâwûd) Recite 3 Times م مد ه ع د د خل م ق ه و ر ضا ن م فس ه س م بح ان اهلل و ب م ات ه و ز ن ة ع م رش ه و م د اد ك I praise and glorify Allâh in accordance to the number of the creation, in a manner which pleases Allâh, equal to the weight of The Mighty Throne and equal to the ink which writes out the commands of Allâh. Rasulullâh explained to his wife, Hadhrat Juwairiya, who had remained on her musalla, from after Fajr Salaah until just before midday, engaged in Tasbîhât, that the above four phrases, if read thrice, would outweigh whatever she had recited during that time. لل ذ ه م م ا أ م صب ح ب م م م ن ن م عم ة أ م و ب أ ح د م م ن خ ل م ق ك ا و م حد ك ل ش يك ل ك ل ك ال م ح م مد و ل ك ف م م نك م كر الش O Allâh, whatever favour of Yours falls upon me or upon any of Your creation, it is solely from You. You have no partner. For You is all praise and for You is all thanks. It has been narrated from Rasulullâh that the one who reads the above in the morning has fulfilled his responsibility of thanking Almighty Allâh for the favours of that day. I fear Your anger If one reads this dua at night and passes away on that very night, he shall pass away on fitrah i.e. on Islâm. (Bukhârî) P a g e 25

Recite 3 Times ي ا ق ي وم ي ا ح حم ت ك أ م ست غ يث ب ر O The All-Living, The All-Sustaining, through your mercy do I seek Your help. Whenever Rasulullâh would be faced with any type of worry or concern he would recite the above. (Tirmidhî) Ulema have advised that one should read it excessively when faced with difficulties, the minimum being three times. ا ل ت ز م غ ق ل م وب ن ا ب م عد إ م ذ ه د ي م ت ن ا و ه م ب نل ا م نم ن ر ب م ك ر حم ة إ ن ك أ ن م ت ال م و ه اب ل ن O our Creator, let our hearts not stray after being guided, and bless us with Your special mercy. Verily You are The All-Giving. (Surah Al-Imrân) P a g e 26

م Protection from Riya (Ostentation) م علم و م وذ ب ك أ م ن أ ش ك ب ك و أن ا أ ا لل ذ ه م إ ن م أع أ م ست م غف ر ك ل م ا ل أ م علم O Allâh, I ask Your protection that I associate partners with You, knowingly, and I ask Your forgiveness for whatever I have done unknowingly. Rasulullâh once made mention of shirk and its different types and explained that there are certain forms of Shirk which are less noticeable than even the movement of an ant. Rasulullâh thereafter prescribed the above dua to be read once or thrice, as a remedy for every type of Shirk, big and small. (Adabul-Mufrad) P a g e 27

ر Make the following Muraqabah (i.e. say and contemplate over the following): )اانپ ن ام رکیل (دب ت وہں او رآم ل ںیم ( اانپ ن ام رکیل( امتم املسمونںںیم اجون روں امتماکف رو ںےس دبت ر وہں Amongst all the Muslims, I (taking your name) am the worst. With regards to my final condition, I (taking your name) am worse than all animals and all non-muslims مہ ا ےسیر ےہ ناہک و ےسیر ےہ واہ ں دانھکی ےہ ہک ےسیک ر ےہ Our condition in this world does not really matter. It is what our condition in the Hereafter shall be that truly matters! ر ى ن اهلل ي م م ب أ م م ي م عل أ ل Does Man not know that Almighty Allâh is watching! (Surah Alaq) P a g e 28

Intentions for the Day: - I will perform my five salâh with Jamâ at in the Masjid according to Sunnah with concentration. - I will complete all my ma mulâts and dhikr for the day. - I will abstain from all sins, major and minor, especially the sin of evil glances, pride, love of this world, and being unmindful of the hereafter. - I will abstain from casing inconvenience and harm to anybody. - Allâh, I am very weak. Assist me to fulfil all my intentions. Intentions for life: - My object of life is to please Allâh and prepare for the hereafter - Gain a connection and relationship with Allâh, follow the Sunnats of Rasulullâh - Be saved from Jahannum and P a g e 29

- Gain entry into Jannatul Firdaus - To attain the rank of the highest level of siddiqiyyat, even though not deserving of it Allâh, help me to fulfil my objectives of life. Make Shukr (thank Allâh) that: - Allâh has given us Imaan - Allah made us from the Ummah of Rasulullah - Allah has seen to our sustenance - Allah has concealed our sins - Allah has given us a beautiful Shariah - Allah has given us health - Allah has linked us to Mashaikh who are on Haq Make dua for Islam, and for all the branches of Din P a g e 30

م All-Encompassing Dua ا س أ ل ك م م نه ن ب ي ك ل ك م م ن خ ي م م سأ ا ن الل ه م إ ن م د م ا ا م ست ع اذ م م نه ن ب ي ك ع وذ ب ك م م ن ش م و ن م د ل و م يك ا ل الغ ل ع ع ان و م ست ن م ت الم م و أ م ل ق و ة إ ل اهلل ول و ح O Allâh, I ask You for all the good of what Rasulullâh asked for, and I seek Your protection from all the evil which Rasulullâh sought protection from. From You alone is help sought from, and You alone fulfil all needs. There is no power to do good or avoid evil except with the permission and help of Allâh. Hadhrat Abu Umamâh once complained to Rasulullâh that they (the Sahâba ) had not been able to memorise many of the beautiful duas which Rasulullâh had made at various occasions during his blessed life. Rasulullâh thereafter taught him the above dua, which encompasses all the duas made by Rasulullâh, throughout his blessed life. Hadhrat Ubâdah ibn Sâmit narrates that Rasulullâh said, Whosoever seeks Almighty Allah s pardon on behalf of the believing men and women, in lieu of every single believing man and woman Almighty Allâh shall write for him a separate reward. (Mu jamul Kabîr of Tabrânî) Recite 25 Times ش م لق و ي م رز ق م م ن ي اء و ه و ا ط م يف ب ع ب اد ه ي ا هلل ل ز يز ال م ع Allâh is Most Kind to His servants. He provides to whosoever He desires and He alone is The All- Powerful, All-Mighty. (Surah Shûrâ) P a g e 35
