CONDITIONS OF ENTRY REFUNDS Should this event be postponed due to bad weather or any other reason acceptable to the committee, nominations already accepted will still apply. Nomination fees will be refunded in full if scratched before nomination closing date. After closing date refunds will be at the discretion of the committee. After closing date refunds will be at the discretion of the Committee. No refunds will be issued after fourteen (14) days after the completion of the Show. PRIZE MONEY Prize money to be paid by cheque within fourteen (14) days after completion of Show. Please make sure you have all your details correctly entered on the Nomination form. ATTIRE: Hack Challenges Please note gear changes between ridden sections of an event is not permitted. English or ASH attire, snaffle or double bridle Futurity, Maturity, Super horse, Youth Challenges & Encouragement ASH attire recommended, snaffle bits only in all ridden sections with exception to the Junior and Senior Hack Challenge (double bridles permitted, but no changing of bits between ridden sections: hack, utility) - no twisted wire bits, martingales, tie downs, or hackamores allowed STALLIONS Stallions and colts may only be handled by a competent person 18 years or over. When being led or ridden they must have a bit in their mouth (2yrs & over) and be under control of the bit. When left unattended they must be suitably restrained e.g. double tied or stabled. ANY HORSE, REGARDLESS OF SEX, DISPLAYING UNRULY OR DANGEROUS BEHAVIOUR MAY BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE ARENA JUNIORS - ONE HORSE PER RIDER All junior competitors, 17 years and under must wear an Australian Safety approved helmet at all times when handling a horse within the perimeter of the grounds (on or off the horse) As per ASHS Ltd rules and regulations with chin strap fastened at all times.. Junior riders 13 21 yrs must ride registered horses in junior challenges. 8-12 yrs and 7yrs & under may ride unregistered horses. PARKING & CAMPING Please do not park on the ring side near the canteen or cattle yards as this area is restricted for trade displays, first aid and the photographer. It is a horse free zone. Access to the ring will be at the gate near the fat cattle yards. No riding on the golf course at any time.

GENERAL RULES 1. If competing more than one horse, please ensure you have enough handlers for each horse. To keep program running smoothly and quickly we need your cooperation. 2. Open to Registered Australian Stock Hoses owned by current Financial Members of the Australian Stock Horse Society (Youth 12 years and under may ride unregistered horses). 3. Each section to be scored out of 100 points. 4. All horses will be scored for each section, unless disqualified. 5. The score for High Point is the aggregate of all of the sections. 6. Tie for High Point is to be a count back, with a count back to be based on ridden sections. 7. In the event of 2 or more placing equal, prize money will be averaged and ribbons balloted. 8. Horses must compete in all phases to be eligible for Section and Overall Placings. 9. Riders can be changed provided the event has not commenced and that the rider has a good reason (eg sickness, injury) and this substitution can only happen once per horse per event. 10. Riders can only be changed after commencement of an event for the following reasons such as injury, sickness or family bereavement - at the discretion of the organising committee. 11. Horses can be substituted provided the event has not commenced and the substitute horse can be verified as registered and the horse meets all requirements of that event. 12. Led Section one judge per class each horse to be individually scored. 13. One horse may only have one rider in its age group, but may be led by another competitor 14. The judge s decision is FINAL - any disputes must be lodged with the secretary in writing within 1 hour of the completion of the event and must be accompanied by a $50 fee (refundable if the dispute if upheld). The decision of the committee on all matters will be final and binding. 15. Any competitor displaying unsportsmanlike conduct, cheating, abusing or threatening a Judge, officials or other competitor will be liable for disqualification. 16. The committee will endeavour to supply suitable cattle and have them worked under the best possible conditions. (The committee reserves the right to substitute other events if cattle are unavailable) PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO THE UNAVAILABILITY OF CATTLE AT TIME OF PUBLISHING THE COMMITTEE HAS HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO SUBSTITUTE THE CATTLE SECTIONS OF THE 4YO AND OPEN CHALLENGE WITH OTHER PHASES. THIS WILL BE REVISED ON SUBSEQUENT EVENTS IN THE FUTURE. 17. Horses must compete in all phases of their age group or forfeit any points earned. 18. One horse may only have one rider in its age group, but may be led by another competitor 19. Allocated Yards Entry Canteen No Camping Cattle Office Toilets & Showers Entry Access within showgrounds is via Fitzgerald Drive. Powered camping is available in the purple areas. No camping on the race track or golf course. The golf course will be clearly marked. Please respect this fence line. Please do not tie horses or fences to the race track fence. No camping between the canteen and yards. This blocks access to the turn-a-round area and causes a traffic block especially for those with bigger rigs. The space alongside the ring near the canteen will be reserved for trade stands, photographers and judges parking. Please be mindful of space and other campers when setting up you camp. Yards need to be restricted to 4.5m x 4.5m please. An area around the canteen will be horse free. This area will be clearly marked. Please do not bring horses into this area. West Moreton ASH is responsible for the maintenance of the grounds and facilities. Please use the rubbish bins provided to assist in keeping your camp and the toilet block clean. At the end of the weekend, please ensure your manure piles are spread out to allow them to be mulched into the ground. The WMB ASH office will be located between the camp and canteen. Exhibitor Bags including wrist bands will be available for collection between 4pm-6pm Friday afternoon or 6:30-7:00 am Saturday morning. You must hand in your Horse Health Declaration to collect your Exhibitor s Bag NO COMPETITOR WILL BE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE ARENA IF THEIR HORSE HEALTH DECLARATION IS NOT SUBMITTED.
