Crafty Kids This program is designed to give preschool children an opportunity for fun, learning, and creativity. Theme based activities include games, songs, crafts, stories, and more. Crafty Spanish A class designed to give kids ages 3-6 an opportunity for fun, learning, and creativity. Participants will get a chance each week to create awesome craft while also learning basic Spanish. Your child will leave with a craft to take home and some new knowledge of some Spanish words. Dance Classes Line Dancing: multi-level line dancing night with great exercise! fast paced, high energy classes! Faith & Fitness Join Rev. Dr. Lakeya Stewart every 4th Sunday for physical and spiritual growth.dr. Stewart, Director of New Generations Ministry Aldersgate United Methodist Church, has 10 years of ministry experience and brings her love for God and people to us. Parallels can be drawn between spirituality and physical fitness especially when teamwork is involved. Make strides to push your physical fitness limits and have our faith and friends to support us. 45-60 minutes of activity followed by 20-30 minutes of spiritual growth. Gymnastics-Little Bodies in Motion Focus is on large and small motor skills, coordination, and balance. Kids will enjoy rolling, running, hopping, skipping, jumping, and learning basic tumbling moves. Gymnastics-Parent/Child Tumbling In this teacher-guided class, the parent will help the child practice basic stretching, use large motor skills, and learn body awareness. A wonderful time to play, laugh and enjoy a unique experience together. Gymnastics-Pre School Rollers This class will introduce your child to tumbling and is designed for fitness and age-appropriate skill development including forward and backward rolls, cartwheels, bridges, and balancing. Gymnastics-School Age Level 1 - This class will introduce your child to tumbling and is designed for fitness and age-appropriate skill development including forward and backward rolls, cartwheels, bridges, and balancing. Level 2 - This is the 2nd developmental level of the YMCA Progressive Gymnastic Program. Focus is on candlestick to stand, back roll tuck, handstand roll, hurdle cartwheel, round off, and bridge from standing position. Level 3 - In addition to building on the previous level, participants work on increasing flexibility while preparing to learn more advanced skills.

HELP - Healthy Eating & Living Program Are you currently pursuing a health goal? Although your journey is your own, several YMCA members are pursuing a similar path to health. Let's learn and support each other in our journeys to overall health. Join our YMCA Wellness Coaches every third Sunday of the month. Learn from a guest speaker on the topics of nutrition, exercise, and habit sustaining. Open to members and community members at no cost. Come ready to learn, share, and support your peers through their journey. See the front desk for more information. Homeschool Programs Enjoy being a part of a program that brings together home school students from around the area. Students in Home School PE will benefit from swim lessons, tumbling lessons, sports instruction, and for the older students, a strength training component. Jorgensen Karate Sensei Colin Brown is a 3rd degree black belt with a Tachi rank in kobudo. Sensei Colin brings over 18 years of experience including competing since he was 12 years old. His mother, Lori Brown also a black belt, started her journey shortly after Colin. Lori was compelled after seeing what an amazing difference Robert Bowles Karate Academy made in her son. This mother and son duo provides a wealth of knowledge, a nurturing spirit, and a high level of discipline. Together they aim to instill the same love for the mental, physical, and spiritual discipline into your sons and daughters. New Member Receptions This is a thirty minute presentation designed to help our members understand all the YMCA has to offer. Includes membership information, how to register for programs, locations in our association, and more information about any program we offer. OWLS Join us for a catered lunch with speaker Camille Garrison, speaking about "Senior Options." Come learn and enjoy food in the fellowship of friends. Parents Night Out Let the YMCA entertain your child while you enjoy a night out! Activities include a pizza dinner, gym games, swimming, and a movie & popcorn. Please send a duffel bag for each child with the following: towel, plastic bag for wet item, underwear, blanket, & pillow for movie time. Children should arrive with their swimsuit on under their clothes and should wear gym shoes with socks. Photography Whether you're a seasoned photographer or simply enjoy taking pictures, our class will help you capture better images by teaching you the use of light and background, and various techniques that will improve your pictures. Bring your own camera and we will explore the many wonders of our area from behind the lens. Piano This 6 week piano class is offered to kids ages 6 years old and up. This group music class is a fun-filled experience for beginner piano students to learn basic music notation, rhythm, and piano technique. The goal of the program is to help children find an effective and efficient way to begin music study. This class utilizes many different types of teaching and learning techniques including instruction, hands on and fun activities, and keyboard playing. Preschool Music This seven week music class is offered to kids ages 4-6 years old. This group music lesson is a fun-filled class including singing, movement, notation, rhythm, and keyboard playing. The goal of the program is to help children grow in pitch and rhythm skills, critical listening skills, keyboard playing, and creative listening skills. This class utilizes many different types of teaching and learning techniques including instruction, hands on keyboard playing and fun activities, music note identification, listening to classical music, using imagination, and so much more. Spanish Classes This conversational Spanish class for intermediate levels is perfect for anyone wishing to learn more Spanish or as a refresher course. Our instructor teaches at college level and will help you reach your fluency goals. SPARK Kids Using SPARK (Sports, Play & Active Recreation for Kids) curriculum, this class will provide children ages 3-5 with high energy, rhythmic, engaging activities that foster social and motor development and enhance school

They will work on comfort in the water, fundamental swimming skills, floating, submerging, recovery, building confidence in and around water, and introduction to stroke development. Swim Lessons - Adaptive This class, designed for participants with special needs, will focus on basic water skills & water adjustment. Helping participants gain confidence in the water & improve kicking & stroking ability. Through participation in the program, participants learn to feel more positive about themselves in a safe & relaxed environment that promotes success mixed with fun & play. Training - Lifeguarding Blended: This Blended Learning class has online portions that must be completed prior to in-class dates. The purpose of the American Red Cross Lifeguarding course is to provide entry-level lifeguard participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize, and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide care breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries, and sudden illnesses until emergency medical personal take over. Successful completion of this course includes certification in Lifeguarding, CPR/AED, Emergency Oxygen, and First Aid. The link for Blended Learning will be sent out after registration.
