Greetings- The South Central PGA Foundation is pleased to announce that we have partnered with the community and Maumelle Country Club for an unprecedented fundraising golf event for tornado relief efforts in Central Arkansas and the surrounding communities. The Tee It Up Fore Arkansas Pro-Am will be held on Friday, June 20, 2014 at the beautiful and challenging Maumelle Country Club. The 18-hole tournament will feature a local South Central PGA club professional paired with three amateurs, with teams playing a two net best-ball competition. In addition to the Pro-Am, the event will feature silent and live auction items and a SNAG (Starting New At Golf) junior clinic for children affected by the tornado. All proceeds will be donated to local charities involved in relief and rebuilding efforts and a SNAG Learning Kit will be donated to school districts in the affected areas to further promote the game of golf. It is the goal of the South Central PGA Foundation to offer their assistance in raising funds and awareness for Arkansas, while aiding with the rebuilding of the local communities.
