INFORMATION FOR ACCOMPANYING PERSONS You are part of the logistics staff for a team participating in the Bocuse d'or. Please read this document carefully. In the 2015 edition of this contest the unloading and loading of the candidates' vehicles has changed. The International Organising Committee (IOC) wishes to regulate these operations in order to make transitions between teams easier and to allow everyone to set up in the best conditions. Remember, for the 2015 edition only three "ACCOMPANYING STAFF" are authorised to help the team (candidate, cooking assistant, coach) during the unloading and loading between their vehicle and the kitchens. The accompanying staff will receive their badge at the official candidates' hotel NOVOTEL GERLAND on Monday January 26 th A "VEHICLE FREE ACCESS" pass and a map will be provided to the teams on their arrival at the official hotel. It gives access to the Espace des Chefs car park (see signs to follow below) during the unloading and loading phases for your team's equipment. Outside these times you will not have access to the Espace des Chefs car park. 1
Your arrival at the Espace des Chefs: When you arrive at the Sirha, please take your vehicle to the Espace des Chefs car park Hall 6 gate 6.19 (on the map below). Do not forget your "VEHICLE FREE ACCESS" pass without which entry will be refused. The arrival times at Exhibition Center for unloading team trucks are: 7:30 pm on Monday 26 th January for teams competing on Tuesday January 27 th 5:30 pm on Tuesday 27 th January for teams competing on Wednesday January 28 th Warning: no access will be possible outside of these hours, so we recommend the accompanying staff not to follow the candidates bus that will leave earlier. You will be called depending on the order of passage in the contest defined in the Technical Document: Tuesday January 27 th 2015 Wednesday January 28 th 2015-8:15 pm = Installation Boxe 6, 11, 12-8:30 pm = Installation Boxe 4, 5, 10-8:45 pm = Installation Boxe 3, 8, 9-9:00 pm = Installation Boxe 1, 2, 7-6:00 pm = Installation Boxe 6, 11, 12-6:15 pm = Installation Boxe 4, 5, 10-6:30 pm = Installation Boxe 3, 8, 9-6:45 pm = Installation Boxe 1, 2, 7 A dedicated area is created at the entrance of the Backstage 1 to mark the unloading zone for your candidate's equipment. All equipment must be unloaded in this area (an IOC member will be present to assist you). After 15 minutes, you must free the spaces in front of the entrance for the trucks for the next three contest kitchens. We remind you that installation in the kitchens lasts 1 hour. When the hour is up, the entire team (team + accompanying staff) must leave the kitchen under the supervision of the IOC The teams will return to the hotels by bus: Departure at 10:10 pm on Monday January 26th Departure at 8:00 pm on Tuesday January 27th The Organisation allows accompanying staff to leave the vehicle used for the team produce and equipment in car park P7 (see map below) until loading on the next day. Please apply for this before January 21 th so that the organisers may adapt the parking arrangements. You can use the team bus transport to return to the official candidates' hotel. Access to the trade fair the next day can be using public transport and then through the main entrance. Make sure you have your accompanying staff badge to be able to enter the stands in the contest area. WARNING: If you do not leave your vehicle in the P7 car park, on the next day you must park in the VISITOR car park and you will only have access to the Espace des Chefs Car Park Hall 6 door 6.19 from 2:00 pm. The next day, access to the Espace des Chefs car park Hall 6 door 6.19 for accompanying staff coming to collect their team's equipment will be from: 2:00 pm on Tuesday 27th January for the day's teams 2:00 pm on Wednesday 28th January for the day's teams 3
Unloading / loading equipment: BOX 12 BLEATCHERS BOX 1 BACKSTAGE 2 PARKING ENTRANCE BACKSTAGE 1 UNLOAD ACCES 1 VILLAGE VIP WELCOME UNLOADING (check in) All the equipment must be unloaded from the vehicles before entering the contest area (UNLOAD on the above map). Access to the contest kitchens will be supervised by the IOC (ENTRANCE on the above map). A member of the committee will take charge of the team to take it to its allocated contest kitchen and will carry out the complete team check in. LOADING (check out) Once the candidates have finished competing they must clean the equipment and the kitchen and then remove any equipment stored behind the kitchens. An IOC member will check cleanliness and will proceed with the check out. Accompanying staff cannot access the contest kitchens until the check out is complete and signed by the IOC (signature is proof). No loading is allowed until the check out has been signed by an IOC member. 4
If your vehicle is parked in the P7 car park, you will need to go through the VIP Village to collect it by going to the reception (WELCOME) and then going to ACCESS 1. You can then rapidly access the P7 Car park to collect your vehicle and return to the Espace des Chefs Car Park Hall 6 door 6.19 (on the map), you will need to show your "VEHICLE FREE ACCESS" pass. If your vehicle is not parked in the P7 Car Park, please go to the Espace des Chefs Car Park Hall 6 door 6.19 (on the map) and show your "VEHICLE FREE ACCESS" pass. Candidates' equipment will be loaded in the order of the contest. As for unloading, all the equipment must be removed from the box, check out completed and the equipment left at the entrance (ENTRANCE) and vehicles will be loaded three at a time in the same way as unloading.
