Cross bike 31 st May Hybrid 30 th June Premium Mtb 31 st July Standard Mtb 31 st July Cycle hire confirmation voucher. You will be sent a confirmation voucher two weeks prior to the event. This voucher must be presented at bike collection. Delivery to Cawdor Castle transition Bike delivered to Cawdor Castle on Friday 7 th September. Check in made in person for fitting and set up from 1pm to 11 pm. You must present your cycle hire confirmation voucher at this point. A member of our staff will assist you with setting up your bike, fitting pedals, sizing, gear operation etc.. Leave your bike in the secure on site compound overnight ready for your arrival on Saturday morning. Selection of spares for sale, lots of tubes to cover all wheel sizes.
Collection from Fort William transition Bike collected Saturday 8th from the Fort William transition for expert Bike collected Sunday 9th from the Fort William transition for challenger. Fort William is your hire bikes final destination. We will be there to take your bike as you arrive. We quickly remove any parts fitted and return as you wait. All parts should be given to Rat Race staff along with your other luggage to be transferred by RatRace onto the finish at Glencoe. Payments Payment windows will open between the dates shown, the dates vary depending on the type of bike you have booked. You will be contacted nearer the time and directed to an online payment method. Payment periods You will be emailed a link on the start date of the payment periods. All payments must be made between these times. Any bookings not paid between the times below will automatically be cancelled. Cancelations Any cancellations made after these dates cannot be refunded. We do however offer a roll over to next year s event or transfer to another RatRace bike event. We expect you to have the correct insurance cover that would reimburse you should you need to cancel due to illness or injury. Damage You are liable for any loss or damage to the bike. We expect you to have appropriate insurance cover that allows you to take part in event such as this. There will be a charge made for any cosmetic damage caused to the bikes made by anything other than normal use. Strapping walking poles, locks or other heavy items to the bike does cause unnecessary damage to the paint cutting into the metal and will fatigue the frame prematurely. Please ride within the limitations of the bikes intended use and your own ability.
