Call the Extension Office, between June 19-23 from 8am to 1pm, to schedule your concession work time. (Voicemails left before 8am, June 19 will not be accepted.) Regular shifts will be 3 hours, Rodeo shifts on Friday & Saturday will be 1 hour. Each member who does not work their shift will be charged $75 in addition to the regular $20 registration fee for enrollment the following 4-H year. If you don t work the fee can be taken out of your sale checks or premiums. All 4-H families are asked to bring drinks for the concession stand to help make the concession stands more profitable. The July Newsletter will list the drink you are asked to bring. The Bent County Fair concession stand is the primary fundraiser for the 4- H program, and subsidizes the cost of 4-H membership. Bent County Fair Books Fair books are printed and will be handed out at club meetings. The most important thing you can do to be ready for fair is read the rules and guidelines in the fair book.
