Teamwork. Development. Success. What does this mean? Our slogan expresses our values Community Service component TAC invitations AA level teams are eligible to participate at Nationals Select group of players invited to China to play in an international tournament Success of players moving on to a higher level

Injury Prevention Most injuries are preventable - according to USA Hockey Chief Medical Officer Integrated into off and on-ice programs Pre-season Introduction to stretching by YES! Fitness Contact clinic During the season Stretching before each game and practice Periodic contact clinic review sessions

Future Chaparral Ice Plans We are committed to supporting Texas Jr. Stars Number of facility improvements are under review Working to further align with the big club Currently investigating HD cameras during home games (Live Barn) Commitment to increase available ice time Participation as an asset in TJS/TRS booster club

The Program Program goal is to be able to field AA teams. The preliminary projections are based on the 2015-16 season enrollments. Our primary goal is making sure we field 1 high level team at each age group - Squirt, Pee Wee, Bantam, and Midget Minor. If the numbers and skill of the players registered for tryouts warrant additional teams, we will seriously consider adding more if it makes sense to the program. Texas Rising Stars (Rec), Development teams, High School league and Texas Jr. Stars practice players are all potential options for players that do not get selected for a Texas Jr. Stars team.

Expectations as a member of the Texas Jr. Stars Players, Parents, Coaches, Association Have fun and enjoy the life long memories that are being created. Positively represent and respect the Dallas Stars, Texas Stars, Texas Jr. Stars, coaching staff, families, and Chaparral Ice facilities, names, and images at all times with your actions and words on and off the ice, in and out of the rink - including social media. Be at all team functions (games, practices, etc.) but FAMILY, FAITH, and SCHOOL are always a first priority. Disciplinary Committee issues/roles

Dallas Stars Travel Hockey League (DSTHL) Select hockey competing against similarly skilled teams. Playing for a common goal - winning a championship at each respective age group. Pre-season levelling tournament over Labor Day weekend to accurately place teams in competitive divisions.

Season Fees DSTHL league fees Game fees (ice, officials, scorekeeper) Leveling Tournament +1 additional out of state tournament Coaching/ Team Manager stipends: covers USA Hockey, background check, education classes/clinics, jackets, etc. 80-90 on-ice practice sessions ~40 games (league, tournaments, scrimmages) Goalie training Specialty coaching Training Camp / Team building ASA / YES! Fitness Practice ice Game / practice supplies Uniforms (Additional) *Fees may also include additional team and/or individual fees not listed that are agreed upon at a later date - i.e. extra practice ice, scrimmages, extra apparel items, etc.

Estimation of Fees from 2015-16 2015-16 fees estimation vs. actual - Estimate* $3200-$3600 for all teams Actual season fees** - $2760 - $3060 *Original estimates included potential additional items such as apparel **Not including additional apparel items, etc. which ranged from an additional $0 - $350 per player

Estimation of Fees for 2016-17 season We anticipate keeping the same estimates from last season. Why? As with last season we did not have specific amounts for certain variable costs such as but not limited to: league fees, ice balancing charges, team composition, etc. Plus MORE ice time
