WELCOME! Hello, and welcome to the UPenn Classic 2018! The UPenn Latin and Ballroom Dance Team would like to express its most sincere appreciation for your attendance at the UPenn Classic. We are celebrating the 12th anniversary of our competition this year. Numerous individuals have made today possible. First, we would like to thank the many wonderful volunteers whose help today is allowing our competition to run Smooth-ly. We are also very grateful for the judges and officials who en-latin us with their dancing knowledge. We would like to thank the generous sponsors and donors who have contributed to essential parts of the competition. We hope that their generosity and love of dance inspire them to support us in the years to come! Finally, we would like to thank the Pennsylvania Convention Center for allowing us to use their beautiful ballroom for a six year in a row. This year s competition should and will be exciting. With more than 400 competitors from all over the Northeast, there will be plenty of opportunities to make new friends and to reconnect with old ones. This year, there will be over 60 dances. We hope that you participate in as many as you can, as we have much to offer in both competitive and fun dances. So, dance, show off your Rhythm, and maybe win! We have many exciting prizes lined up for our top competitors this year. Finally, we very much appreciate your feedback! We would love to hear what you have enjoyed about the UPenn Classic, or what we could do to make the UPenn Classic 2019 even better. Your input will greatly help us achieve our goal of providing the best competition we can. Help us maintain our high Standard-s and contact us with any comments you have about the UPenn Classic at UPennClassic@gmail. com. Welcome to the UPenn Classic 2018! Good luck, and have fun!
