It is the second of four scheduled meetings between the teams in 2015. The Redbirds swept the Grizzlies at AutoZone Park in August 2014. Memphis leads the all-time series, 45-40, since 1998. WINNING: Yesterday marked the Redbirds season-best eighth consecutive win, which is the longest active winning streak in minor league baseball. LYONS KING: Left-hander Tyler Lyons makes his sixth start tonight for Memphis and second since being called up to the Cardinals on May 5. In his last outing, the 27-year-old struck out a career high 12 batters in a complete game victory over Sacramento at Raley Field. Over his last four starts with Memphis, Lyons is 3-0 with a 1.69 ERA (5er/26.2ip) and 32 strikeouts. START ME UP: During Memphis eight-game winning streak, Redbirds starting pitchers have gone a combined 4-0 with a 3.04 ERA (16er/47.1ip) while striking out 42 and issuing just seven walks. WALKING IN MEMPHIS: Redbirds batters lead the Pacifi c Coast League with 218 walks, 44 more than second-place Fresno (174). TAKE IT EASLEY: Catcher Ed Easley has been a clutch hitter for the Redbirds this season. The backstop and designated hitter is hitting.361 (13-for-36) with runners in scoring position,.556 (5-for-9) in the ninth inning or later, and has also recorded 13 of his 18 RBI with two outs. Easley is currently tied for fi rst in the league with a.432 on-base percentage and is tied for eighth in walks. GO GO GARCIA: Redbirds infi elder Greg Garcia is hitting.377 (29-for-77) in 22 May games, 8th-highest in the PCL (Reno s Danny Worth leads at.415). Garcia has also hit safely in 11 straight road games since May 1 (.385, 15-for- 39), the fi fth-longest active in the circuit. The 25-year-old infi elder currently owns a fi ve-game hitting streak, over which he is hitting.429 (9-for-21). Garcia has hit safely in 18 of 22 games played this month.
