40th ANNUAL CENTRAL CALIFORNIA KOI SOCIETY KOI SHOW Our annual koi show will be held at Fig Garden Village, 5082 N. Palm Ave, Fresno, CA 93704, corner of Palm and Shaw, starting on Friday September 21 st (set-up 7am and koi check in beginning at 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.). On Saturday, September 22nd, koi judging begins at 10:00 am and our show ends on Sunday September 23 rd at 3pm. All koi are to be in their tanks no later than 8am Saturday, September 22nd. Our show banquet will be on Saturday, September 22 nd at 5:00 p.m. with a social hour at the Elbow Room, 731 West San Jose Ave., Fresno, CA 93704 (in Fig Garden Village Shopping Center) cost of $50.00. This show is open to any koi hobbyist interested in showing at our event and is cordially invited. Space is limited so please register early as show tanks will be reserved on first come first serve basis. There will be koi and pond vendors available selling pond equipment, koi food, and koi, as well as a silent auction, table raffle. Our show is always expanding and improving for both the koi hobbyist and public who come to enjoy viewing the beauties that come out to compete from as far as Temecula to as far north as Redding, California. Entry: 40th ANNUAL CCKS KOI SHOW September 22 nd September 23 rd, 2018 Hosted by: Central California Koi Society Show located at Fig Garden Shopping Center 5082 N. Palm Ave, Fresno Palm & Shaw (in front of CVS Drugstore) 1. This is an open show to all Koi Hobbyists and will be conducted English style, where entrants will be assigned their own tank(s) for their fish only. Registered entrants must own all fish entered in the show. 2. All entrants must complete the Registration Form and deadline is September 7, 2018. Exhibitor s entry fee per tank: $45 to include first 3 fish. To allow for additional exhibitors, each entrant will be allowed maximum of 3 tanks. Each additional fish is $5.00, Koi Show Banquet tickets are $50.00 each held on 9/22/18, 5:00p.m. at the Elbow Room, 736 West San Jose Ave., Fresno, CA 93704. 3. Make checks payable to CCKS and mail to 5832 E. Erin Ave, Fresno, CA 93727 as registrations forms are received show tanks will be assigned accordingly. 4. All fish will be individually photographed upon arrival and be measured for size before being placed into the tanks. 5. Hotel Accommodations: San Joaquin Hotel, 1309 West Shaw Ave., Fresno, CA 93711 special show rate at $85.00 (+tax), call them directly at 559-225-1309 or 1-800-775-1309 and for Central California Koi Society show rate. Judging: 1. No members or fish owners will be allowed in the center aisle during the judging process. Only Judges, Recorders, Assigned Photographer and fish handlers, who are benching fish, are allowed to be in the center aisle during judging. Please stay on the outside of the yellow tape or you will be asked to move. NO EXCEPTIONS!! Do not talk to the judges or point out your fish during the judging. The judges will be happy to answer questions, visit and talk to you after their work is done. 2. Injuries that leave permanent scars or deformities may count against the fish at the discretion of the judges. Injuries not permanent in nature will be over looked during judging. 3. The decisions of the judges and show committee are final. Delivery and Removal of Fish: 1. For the health and safety of your fish, DO NOT FEED YOUR FISH FOR 5 DAYS PRIOR TO THE SHOW. 2. Fish are to be delivered on Friday, September 21st, 2018 between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. (special arrangements with time can be made for after 6pm, by contacting Rosimeri Tran, at 559-970-8508) just let us know in advance. All fish must be in the tanks by 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 22nd, (the day of the show) to be ready for judging. That means registered, photographed, measured, classified and tank(s) assigned to all entrants. NO EXCEPTIONS

3. All fish must be in good health. Any fish deemed by the entry committee to be showing possible signs of any disease or parasites must be removed immediately. 4. At the close of the show CCKS will provide bags, rubber bands and oxygen to assist entrants with transporting fish safely home. 5. All fish must be picked up from 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 23rd, 2018. Please try not to pickup your fish before 3:00 p.m. if you need to leave prior to 3pm please get permission from show chair, priority will be given to those traveling further distances, contact Exhibit Chair, Rosimeri Tran, at 559-970-8508 or via email at cencalkoi@gmail.com. 6. In the event there are unclaimed fish after the closing of the show; the fish will be held for (15) days, after which they become the property of CCKS. 7. All necessary and reasonable precautions will be taken by the Central California Koi Society to safeguard entered Koi. Therefore, all participating in the show will agree to hold the CCKS, its officers, directors and general membership blameless against any loss or injury of the fish. 8. 2017 CCKS winner of Grand Champion are not eligible to enter. 9. All Gin Rin koi will be given the option during benching to be entered in either the Gin Rin A (Gosanke-Kohaku, Showa and Sanke) category or Gin Rin B (non Gosanke) category. All non Gosanke koi including Gin Rin A and B are eligible to compete for the Grand Champion B award.

Fish load points should not add up over 100 pts per tank for the water quality to help support your fish safety.

We will need to give a head count 7 days prior, so please submit banquet tickets in advance.

Our show hotel is the San Joaquin Hotel, 1309 West Shaw Ave., Fresno, CA 93711. The hotel rate for our show is $85.00 plus tax, which includes free parking and free breakfast.
