Fish & Game Club Membership Guide Fulton NY Established 1946 Safety First!

Welcome to Pathfinder Fish and Game Club Pathfinder Fish and Game Club is made up of individuals who join the club to enjoy a place to participate in the shooting sports. SAFETY is the first and last responsibility of all members. It is the responsibility of every member to ensure that their guests understand and abide by the club's safety rules. Every person who uses the club shooting ranges is expected to do so SAFELY. YOU can be held liable if YOUR bullet goes over a berm or in the event someone is injured due to YOUR negligence. Pathfinder Fish and Game Club s Insurance Only Safeguards the Club! Membership All persons with an interest in the shooting sports are welcome to join the Pathfinder shooting community. To join Pathfinder Fish and Game Club you must come to the clubhouse IN PERSON to complete a membership application and pay the annual dues. New members are required to attend Pathfinder's Range Safety Orientation. Range Safety Orientation is intended to familiarize you with the club property and with how to SAFELY engage in each of the shooting sports available to you as a member. As members of Pathfinder Fish and Game Club we are a community and it takes each and every one of us to promote safety and good sportsman-like behavior. Always interact courteously with your fellow members and guests. When necessary, immediately but courteously correct bad decisions and safety errors. The attitude you present when you are at this facility reflects to the general public the attitude of hunters and all participants of the shooting sports, alike. It takes all of us to improve good sportsmanship and to act responsibly in order to protect our Second Amendment freedoms from those who will continue to try to take them away. Membership Meetings Membership meetings are a great way to learn more about the club, its constitution and bylaws, and your fellow members. Meetings are held at 7:00 pm on the second Wednesday of each month in the clubhouse. The meeting generally lasts about 2 hours and all members are encouraged to attend. 2 Pathfinder Fish & Game Club Membership Guide

The Club Pathfinder Fish and Game Club offers archery, trap, skeet, five stand, long gun and pistol ranges, plus the special event bays. This booklet is intended to give you an overview of the basic functions and SAFETY practices of each shooting range on the Pathfinder property. Once you are familiar with the rules of each sport, we encourage you to participate and share your interests with others. We all have a favorite and through sharing our passion with each other we have grown to over 900 members. The clubhouse hosts the community room and bar area, kitchen, club business office, restrooms, indoor archery/banquet room, storage garage for winter equipment and target overflow and the power panel for the trap/skeet fields. Staffing The club is where we like to get away and play, and all aspects of taking care of it are done by member volunteers. Members perform regular building and grounds maintenance, trash pickup, cooking and serving food and more. Members give their time to ensure that the clubhouse is open for everyone to use on weekends, during league matches and for other club sponsored events. Many hands make work light and fun, and keep the club a welcoming and attractive place to be! Membership Dues and Eligibility Continued on Page 4 No membership applications are accepted by mail. Range Fees Range Fees are NOT included in the cost in any membership category. Range Form Envelopes are required to document every visit, regardless of the range fee option you choose. ALL PERSONS will remain behind the active shooter/station until their turn. Call for a bird loudly enough for the operator to hear you. 1. At stations 1 and 2 a single target is released from the higher trap, then a single target is released from the lower trap (high house and low house). Then, another target will be released from the low trap, followed by two targets released simultaneously. On the simultaneous release, the object is to shoot the higher target first. A total of four shorts will be taken at each station. 2. At stations 3 through 5 a single target will be released from the high house, then a single target released from the low house, for a total of two shots at each station. 3.
