Specifics for Each Race Road Races: Saturday & Sunday ALL DAY Feb. 7 th & 8 th A 1.9 mile loop of the interior road at Cedar Hill State Park. The road is beautifully smooth and racers will have the whole road as we're turning it into a one-way traffic pattern. Counter-clockwise Saturday & clockwise on Sunday. The course is twisty with one significant hill (87 feet of climbing) each lap and has views of Joe Pool Lake as well as the hills of Cedar Hill. Hill Climb Trial: Saturday morning Feb. 7 th An approximately.9 to 1-mile route mostly uphill on West Belt Line Rd. in the City of Cedar Hill. TT staging will be at the back gate of the state park and can only be accessed through the inside of Cedar Hill State Park. ALL TT participants MUST enter the main entrance of the state park. There will be NO TT parking outside the back gate of the park or along the TT course. The TT start is just outside the back gate of the park and the finish will be at the top of the hill just before Mobley Rd. During the TT the roads will remain open to traffic so use caution. Before you panic, this stretch of West Belt Line Rd. is a dead-end, off-shoot of the main Belt Line you probably know and this stretch is used only to accesses a few, small 1-2 street neighborhoods. The TT is about.9 mile in length with a 5% average grade and 11% at the steepest. TT is Pre-Reg ONLY Cross Race: Saturday evening Feb. 7 th The Cross race features a similar design to last February s course. If lake water levels allow the nighttime beach crossing will be back and is sure to test everyone s grit. Sunset is at 6:08pm so that means the Women Open & Masters 40+ will be finishing as darkness sets in and the Men s 4 and Men s p/1/2/3 will be held entirely in the dark and under the lights. The cross course will be located around and near the southern boat ramp right next to the lake and where the mud runs usually build their mud pits MTB Race: Sunday morning Feb. 8th The Mountain Bike Race will be on the 8-mile loop utilizing the same staging, course, and set-up as last year and recent DORBA races. It is sure to be great fun on a great course.
