Every player is required to wear shin pads which provides protection against mistimed tackles and kicks to shin Referee s also can punish a player by eir reprimanding him for unsafe play. Medibags are provided for club use (one for each team) se must be taken to all training sessions and matches/tournaments etc, both home and away club s committee to distribute. What FURTHER ACTIONS are required to Control Risk? In a contact sport, it is very tough to completely remove possibility of a contact related injury but due to presence of protective shin pads and referees who oversee, incidents that can be considered risky are minimal and rare by WHOM? Chair- RC - by WHEN? On day of event, 1 hour or training begins. Completion DATE? Non contact related injuries eg Muscle pulls/tears, slips, ankle injuries caused by twisting or tearing ankle lints, knee inju-ries caused not by contact but by quick sudden movement and lastly cases of similar attributes Players participating and players on benches Ensure that all coaches or someone in attendance at or in training is 1st aid trained. Benches are located as far as reasonable practical away from court. Every player is required to wear adequate futsal footwear and standard kit to avoid slips and freak injuries as much as possible. Food, drink and or obstructions are not permitted on any playing sur-face and must be kept a safe distance away on sidelines and not cause a hazard to ors present to avoid trip-ping hazards.
