Continued School Fete The exciting and fun times continue with our School Fete only 18 days away on Saturday 22nd October. Hopefully the great Gardenvale support and enthusiasm will continue for this event, like it has on many other occasions. The Fete Committee has been working hard all year and it is hoped that the wider school community will be able to respond to any requests made for help leading up to, and on the day! One of the emerging highlights will be the inaugural performance of the parent/staff band, 'The Vales' that have been rehearsing enthusiastically over the past weeks. Student groups will be singing throughout the day and the dance troop will also put in a performance. Let's make this a great fundraising and community event for our school! Junior Campus Boys Toilets Following up on the good work that started at the Year 1 working Bee with the painting of the boy s toilets at the Junior Campus, we were very fortunate to have one of our dads Kevin Chadwick complete the task over the holidays! Kevin has given all the wall surfaces a second coat and painted the doors. The toilets look a treat and should provide a much more pleasant environment for our boys!! Thank you so much Kevin. Looking forward to a great term, Janine Hall Acting Principal 2 GPS
