By partnering with the Vixens you are joining the Netball Victoria family and supporting the sport at all levels from grassroots to elite. NETBALL VICTORIA An industry-leading not-for-profit organisation that manages and coordinates Netball in Victoria, from facilities, to membership, to grassroots participation and high performance netball. All revenue is driven back into developing and growing the sport. MELBOURNE VIXENS The Melbourne Vixens franchise was launched in 2008, following the amalgamation of the Melbourne Phoenix and Melbourne Kestrels elite netball teams. The Club has a proud and strong history. VICTORIAN FURY The Victorian Fury compete in the competition that underpins Suncorp Super Netball. This is a vital component of the high performance pathway to elite netball in Victoria. VICTORIAN NETBALL LEAGUE The Victorian Netball League is a state based competition that feeds into the national competition. The VNL has 10 teams competing, with three grades in every team. GRASSROOTS, DEVELOPMENT AND PARTICIPATION Netball is a game for all ages, from toddlers through to seniors. Netball Victoria boasts more than 114,000 members and 200,000 registered contactable participants throughout Victoria. 5
