As a reminder of the communication earlier this year, our greens suffered an infestation of a contaminate grass that was worsening. The only solution was to have them replaced. We were fortunate to have the opportunity to do so at a substantially less cost than what would be normally charged for this project. Given the timing and the reduced cost structure, the urgency to take advantage of this opportunity was crucial. The history of our club has proven that our members have always come together with their generous support for the betterment of Gainesville Country Club as we saw in our very first Capital Campaign. We are proud to serve such giving and caring members. Once again we are asking our members to not only support the greens renovation but to enjoy the benefit of your support Help the Club Help Yourself Campaign We are excited to offer you a program that will be one that you and your family will want to participate. Invest $1,000 and receive $1,200 in food and beverage Here are the program guidelines: credit! You will receive $400 food and beverage credit per year for 3 years. You can use the food and beverage credit at anytime in the year. We do ask that you consider spreading out the use of the food and beverage credit to avoid the financial impact to the club if the entire credit is used in one month. Must be used at club food and beverage outlets. Private functions, parties and special events excluded. Investments after June 1, 2014 will receive food and beverage credit of $1,200 To enroll in the program or if you have any questions, please call the Club at (352)- 372-1458 or email tyochim@gainesville.cc. Sincerely, Dr. Philip Ankrim and The Board of Directors
