General Regulations and Information 1. Rules and regulations Start takes place to the one-start-rule. The meeting will be run according to the general rules of the German Swim Association (DSV), including the anti-doping rules. It is open to clubs, selected and national teams from member-federations of the FINA. Handicapped swimmers swim according to the rules of the German Handicapped Association (DBS). Only swimmers of the age group 2004 and older are accepted. 2. Indoor Pool The pool is 50 m long and has 8 lanes which are divided by wave killer lanes. The water temperature measures 26 C. Electronic time-keeping will be used, you can follow the times on a 5m² scoreboard. 3. Registration The clubs are asked to turn in their entries in electronic form as data-file (DSV5- formular) declaring the personal bests. Clubs from abroad can turn in their entries on the Lenex- Formular. According to a decision of the DSV- committee of experts from the 1 st September 2013 swimmers of the age group 2004 are not allowed to have more than 6 starts a day (relays included). 5. Entry fee The entry fee per event is 4,50 EUR for all 50, 100 and 200m distances 5,50 EUR for all 400m distances 6,50 EUR for all relays If you don`t enter your entries per DSV or txt file (which can be imported to our programme) the entry fee will be raised by 50 ct. per start. Exception: you can use a cheque which has to be given to the recorder before the competition has started. 6. Heat seeding The heat and lane-seeding will be determined by entry times received according to the WB 113. The entries for the 400 m freestyle events (event 13/14) will be shown in the programme as an entry list. Deregistrations are possible up to the 2 nd section, but you still have to pay the entry fee for these distances. If there are a lot of entries for the 400m freestyle, the promoter may decide to let two swimmers swim on one lane. In this case there will be manual-timekeeping. 7. Scoring The ages 1995 and older are judged together. The ages 1996 to 2004 will be rated according to their age group. The 50m competitions and relays are open. The 200m butterfly and the 400m individual medley are only for the age groups 2003 and older. The 4x100m freestyle relay has to be swum by two boys and two girls. It can be swum in any order.
8. Awards The first three in each age group receive medals. The best male and female in each age group (most points following the FINA point table) will receive a 25 award. Only the 100m and 200m distances qualify for these awards. There also will be pre-selected heats in which the winner will receive a small prize. The team with the most points will receive the Entega Cup. The points for the teams will be determined in the age groups in the following way: 1st place = 4 points 2nd place = 2 points 3rd place = 1 point the results of all age groups are included The first three in the 400m individual medley and freestyle (open, female and male) will receive a money award (1 st 40, 2 nd 20, 3 rd 10 ) The winners of the relays (1 st to 3 rd place) get medals and a money award (1 st 80, 2 nd 40, 3 rd 20 ). 9. Judging The clubs send one judge for (1.) up to 15 starts per section, two judges for (2.) up to 30 starts per section and three judges for (3.) more than 31 starts per section. Clubs can be released from this duty if they pay an expense of 12,50 for up to 30 entries per section or 25 for 31 and more entries per section. Pay it by turning in your entries. The judges are asked to contact the announcer 20 minutes before the meet starts. 10. Protocol The protocol will be sent per e-mail to the clubs and it will be published on the promoter`s homepage. Clubs that need a printed protocol, please let us know with your registration. 11. Victory ceremony The victory ceremony is part of the competition. It will take place during the meet and will be announced in time. If the swimmer can`t get his medal personally, please send a representative. Don`t forget to pick up the certificates. The promoter is not obligated to send them to the clubs as long as a victory ceremony has taken place. 12. Data privacy By turning in your entries you confirm that all the participants and their legal representatives don`t have any objections against the publishment of names or photos that go in line with the protocol or news coverage about this event.
13. Responsibility The organizer doesn`t vouch for property damage, lost valuable things and accidents concerning participants and spectators. Requirements of the sport accident insurance are not touched. 14. Catering During the swim meet the promoter and the staff of the club restaurant will offer meals and drinks for sportsmen. 15.
