08.05. 17.05.2018 (Travel time 07.05. - 18.05.2018, Minimum number of participants: 10) What makes ' behind the mask ' movies so special? How do they manage to trigger such an enthusiasm among their viewers? How do I get so much suspense such that my own productions are fully viewed, contrary to the "next-click culture" that is so prevalent on the web? Answers to these questions in general and in particular regarding your own film / video projects can be found in this workshop. And indeed by Florian Fischer, the creative head of 'Behind the Mask', highly personal. And which venue could be more appropriate than the so inspiring Bahamas Island of Eleuthera-the cradle of its breakthrough and home to numerous sharks. ELEUTHERA, BAHAMAS The island of Eleuthera, which is less than a kilometre narrow, stretches about 180 km in some places. It is located approximately 80 km east of Nassau and has about 11,500 inhabitants. Governor's Harbour is the administrative (and geographical) centre of the island. There is an international airport in North Eleuthera to the north as well as Rock Sound to the south, What to expect? Caribbean reef sharks and ocean sharks plus the possibility of tiger and bull sharks. This really nice caribbean diving and overwhelming water sports, nature and beach ammenities. Holiday pleasure under the tropical sun for divers, non-divers and the youngest ones. Decorative's work on water: a cinematic Bahamas backdrop with endless, deserted sandy beaches, crystal clear waters, Caribbean flair and an estimated 350 sunny days per year. Dense vegetation, many palm trees and beaches on either side of the long hilly island characterize the landscape. For everything else you need for "being" and feeling good, you are well taken care of by highly American standards, but "on island-time" sometimes time-delayed. And the most important: ideal dive sites for shark observation and interaction with different species. A first-class diving base, reliable logistics and a secure holiday island. In addition, feel-good accommodations and a Bacardi feeling pur this makes Eleuthera not only a favourite shark destination, but also a new SharkSchool base
Shark diving. Bordered to the east by the Atlantic and to the west by the Caribbean, this selected location is where divers find peak conditions to meet not only the Caribbean shark but also deep sea sharks and, with luck, tiger and bull sharks. Water temperatures range between 23-28 C with visibility at 25m and more. Perfect for divers, snorkellers and relaxed swimming. In addition to the shark diving, Eleuthera promises healthy reefs, steep walls, canyons, tunnels and boiling holes where underground connections from the Atlantic to the Caribbean result in sensational diving spots. DIVE CENTER OCEAN FOX COTTON BAY At Cape Eleuthera Resort, in the crystal clear waters of Exuma sound and Rock sound, Al Curry and his team operate the Ocean Fox Cotton Bay diving base & Water Sports Center. With every fiber of his body, Al shares his passion for the ocean. His success concept: small base, high professionalism, individual service. This also includes the fact that you are wearing and providing your diving equipment (unless you want to do it yourself). You only need to slip in and be slide down into the fascinating underwater world. Whoever does not bring his own equipment or bings only part, can borrow the missing pieces on site and will be pleased about their faultless condition. The two 11m speedboats of the Ocean Fox base usually bring divers to the dive sites in 15-20 minutes. The shark spots are usually about 15-20 m with sandy bottoms. Even without feeding, 4 to 8 sharks are usually found on site. In addition, some steep walls with canyons, tunnels and magnificent corals as well as spectacular, vital reefs, between 10 and 20 meters can be found. All in all, the conditions on Eleuthera are so discreet, but not very demanding, but very relaxed and very exciting! CAPE ELEUTHERA RESORT Very beautiful and offering the typical American high comfort, you will find your holiday domicile with island flair at the Cape Eleuthera Resort. The top-rated facility is framed on two sides by the glass-clear waters of Exuma Sound and Rock Sound. In this secluded retreat, you'll find everything you need: three private beaches, a new pool and a marina with snack bar, shop and two bars / restaurants. A breathtaking panorama and pure Bahamas feel. A place made to completely unwind and relax. The very well-equipped, modern houses, which many would call a villa, are designed for up to four people. They each have 2 bedrooms (with a double bed in the master bedroom and two single beds in the guest bedroom), each with a private bathroom and a spacious living room with dining area. There is also a private balcony and a veranda. The kitchen is fully equipped and high-quality so that cooking, if you want to take it at all, is really fun! A central air conditioning, ceiling fans, flat screen TV, Internet for free and on request & for a fee a housekeeping service will do the rest for a successful stay. Eat out. Just next door and in an informal island atmosphere, you will be served by Pascal's culinary delights. Chef Pascal is an ambitious, award-winning gourmet. He specializes in ' Caribbean fusion cuisine ', pampers you for breakfast, lunch and dinner but also likes the classics of international cuisine. The supermarket ' The market Place ' in rock sound, about 25 minutes away from the resort by car, offers everything for daily needs, including fresh goods, meat and pastries. With a mouse click, you can even order your purchases online and have them delivered directly to the door. In the Marina Store right at the resort you get - even if in a smaller selection - the most important things to buy. From toiletries to staple foods and icecold Kalik beer to a fresh T-shirt, almost everything is available 7 days a week.
