The Best Ridden Horse and Decorated (Classes 128 and 129) classes will be judged at approx. 2.30p.m. in the Main Ring so that these Horses can then lead off all prize winners for the Grand Parade which follows immediately afterwards. The Sam Turner Perpetual Challenge Trophy will be awarded for the Champion Agricultural Horse, also Championship Rosette. The C & E Nunn Perpetual Challenge Trophy will be presented for the Champion Foal, also Championship Rosette. Numbers to qualify: Those horses which jump a clear round in the First Round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least four Connolly s RED MILLS Senior Newcomers First Round competitions in any qualifying period, will qualify to compete in a Connolly s RED MILLS Senior Newcomers Second Round, irrespective of their placings for prize money in those competitions, which will be determined by the normal Table A Rules (Rule 191). To obtain a double clear qualification, even if the horse is the only clear round, it must jump a jump-off round and jump clear to gain a double clear round. calendar year as the Foxhunter Final - in accordance with rule 310.6 Four double clears will qualify. Four Double clears will qualify for the Senior Foxhunter Second Rounds. Qualifying period: 1st June-31st May inclusive. Those horses that have qualified for the Senior Foxhunter Championship in 2018 are not eligible for qualification to the 2019 Championship. Open section: For registered horses ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members. If combined with an open: In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split with two sets of prize money. Qualifying period yearly 1st May - 30th April inclusive. Numbers to qualify: Those horses which jump a clear round in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least four KBIS Insurance British Novice First Round competitions held in any qualifying period will qualify to compete in and attend

four KBIS Insurance British Novice Second Rounds, irrespective of their placings for prize money in those competitions, which will be determined by the normal Table A rules (Rule 191). Horses in the class must go in to the jump-off and go clear to gain a double clear round qualification. 90cm Open: For registered horses to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members. If combined with an open: In Category 1 Shows and in the event of 30 starters or more the Open and the British Novice section will be split with two sets of prize money awarded. In Category 2 Shows the sections must always be split with two sets of prize money awarded. Prizes: 1st: 30.00, 2nd: 25.00, 3rd: 20.00, 4th: 14.00, 5th: 12.00, Total: 101.00. Four Double Clears will qualify - in accordance with Rule 314.6. b) For all horses born on or after 1 January 2013 irrespective of points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of five years or under in the same calendar year as the Discovery Final - in accordance with Rule 314.6. Qualifies for: Nupafeed Supplements Discovery Championship Second Round. Qualifying period: 1st May-30th April inclusive. Numbers to qualify: Those horses that jump a clear round in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least four First Round competitions held in any qualifying period, will qualify to compete in and attend four Second Rounds, irrespective of their placings for prize money in those competitions, which will be determined by the normal Table A Rules (Rule 191). These ponies if owned by NPS members are then eligible to qualify for the final at the NPS Summer Championship Show. The Owner s Membership cards MUST be produced in the ring when requested or the qualification will be forfeit. NPS Silver Medal Rosette Championship These classes are to be judged under rules of the NPS. NPS silver medal rosettes are only awarded when the owner of the champion pony is a qualifying or life member of the NPS. A valid membership card must be in the riders/handler s possession on entering the ring and be produced immediately on request by either the judge or the steward. If the owner of the champion pony is not a member, or the owner s membership card is not immediately produced, the rosette may be awarded to the reserve champion provided they have the required membership card. If the champion pony has previously qualified it is still entitled to the silver medal rosette but the qualification goes to the reserve champion pony, provided the owner of that pony is a member of the NPS. The silver medal rosette and the qualification card can be awarded no lower than first reserve (third). Foals are not eligible for Silver Medal Championships. Qualifiers are entitled to compete in the final of the silver medal rosette championship to be held at the NPS summer championship show 31 st July 2 nd August 2018.
