TNI and Friends Fishing Tournament About TFFT TNI and Friends Fishing Tournament or TFFT is a fishing tournament hosted on the TourneyX platform intended for employees and up to one friend fishing as a team of 2. Employees can either fish alone or team up with another employee if they desire. TFFT will have two divisions a Saltwater and a Freshwater division to support as many anglers from different regions and species availability. We want everyone to have the chance to get involved, get outside, and compete fairly. The longest of each species submitted will count towards the point total of each angler. Saltwater Division: Anglers in the Saltwater Division will catch the longest cumulative total of their longest Red Fish, Speckled Trout, and Black Drum. Freshwater Division: Anglers in the Freshwater Division will catch the longest cumulative total of their longest Catfish, Bass, and Crappie. Any sub specie is eligible. Example Scoring: 25 Red Fish = 25.00pts 21.25 Trout = 21.25pts 18.75 Black Drum= 18.75pts 25.00 + 21.25 + 18.75 = 65pts
Fish Culls: You can submit as many fish as you want until the deadline. This is a manual cull tournament. You will be able to Cull fish from within the TourneyX app. In the above example if a 28 Red Fish was caught you would be able to cull the 25 and replace it with the 28 fish, increasing your point total to 68pts. HOW DO I PARTICIPATE? Step 1 - Download the TourneyX app on your mobile device OR visit TourneyX.com/app to register and pay the $15 entry fee. Step 2 - Get a measuring device. Fish will be measured in inches, not by weight. There are a variety of measuring boards available online or at local retail stores/tackle shops. If you don t have access to one, a simple tape measure will do. If you plan to use a tape measure make sure the fish is laying on top of the tape. We recommend a Hawg Trough or similar bump board with ¼ inch increments clearly visible. Step 3 - Write down your Identifier Code. On the first day of the tournament, you will be emailed this code. It will also be available on your TourneyX app. This code is EXTREMELY important and is the only way for us to identify your catch. We suggest having this code written on the back of your hand or on a piece of paper and clearly visible in every submission photo. Step 4 - Catch fish from the allowed species list. Step 5 - Take a picture of your fish, with mouth closed, on your measuring board or tape measure with your Identifier Code clearly visible. NOTE: Photos submitted without this code will NOT be counted towards your tournament submission(s). Step 6 - Submit your catch on the TourneyX app or online at TourneyX.com before the March 31st deadline at 3:00pm CST.
