FIRST AID MEASURES For advice contact the Poisons Information Centre 131 126 Description of necessary measures according to routes of exposure Eye Inhalation Skin Ingestion First Aid Facilities In case of eye contract, hold eyelids apart and flush continuously with clean running water for approximately 15 minutes. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES Treat symptomatically. General Measures Suitable Extinguishing Media Do not enter enclosed or a confined work space without proper protective equipment. Fire fighting personnel should wear respiratory protection (positive pressure if available). Clear fire area of all non-emergency personnel. Stay upwind. Keep out of low areas. Eliminate ignition sources. Move fire exposed containers from fire area if it can be done without risk. Use extinguishing media appropriate to the principal fire hazard or to the source of the fire. Large spills contain and collect using absorbent material. Prevent run off into drains and waterways. Contaminated product should be placed in sealed, properly labelled containers for disposal. Dispose of waste according to Federal, EPA, State and Local Regulations. Assure conformity with all applicable regulations. 7. HANDLING AND STORAGE Handling Before use carefully read the product label. Keep containers securely sealed and protected against physical damage when not in use. It is recommended that this product be dispensed through approved dispensers. Dispense only enough product to perform the task. It should be noted that over zealous use of hand cleaners could cause dryness of the skin and lead to defatting. Where the use of the hand cleaner is above normal, the application of a moisturising cream is recommended. Storage This product is classed as a Combustible Liquid. Store in accordance with AS1940 The Storage and Handling of Combustible Liquids. Store in a well ventilated area, away from oxidising agents, acids, strong alkalis, heat and ignition sources.
