During the victory, Smith threw for a touchdown and then took an onside kick back 39 yards for a score. 14 Bryan Hicks QB 6-0 180 Southwestern University A Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference all first team selection Hicks, a senior quarterback, led the conference with a pass efficiency rating of 138.3 The Humble native, who was an honorable mention pick the last two seasons, completed 139 of 328 passes for 1,692 yards and 14 touchdowns... He was named SCAC Offensive Player of the Week after throwing for five touchdowns in Southwestern's 35-31 win at Texas Lutheran on Nov. 12... This is the second straight season that Johnson has been selected to the All-Liberty First Team Offense. 25 Patrick Keyes DB 5-11 191 US Merchant Marine Academy An All-Liberty first team selection Keyes led the Merchant Marine defense in 2016 with 64 total tackles (40 solo and 24 assisted), including two tackles for losses of a combined six yards, one interception, three pass break-ups and one blocked punt in the Coast Guard game This is the third time in Keyes' career that he has been named to the All-Liberty Team, as he earned Second Team honors in both 2014 and 2015.

Had one reception for five yards. 30 Tanner Stengel LB 5-11 220 Wilkes University Stengel earned his second straight All-MAC second team honor after finishing his senior season second overall in total tackles in the league with 115 stops... He also added 3.5 sacks averaging over 11.5 tackles per-game in the process... Stengel's best outing came in a win against Lycoming in week eight when he finished with a career-high 20 tackles and 1.5 sacks... He went over the ten-tackle mark in seven of the Colonels ten games this season... He finished his Colonel career with 346 career tackles, 35.0 tackles-forloss and 11.0 sacks, one of the best linebacker careers in Wilkes history.
