For this example, we have select a Sennebogen 7700SL crawler crane. 1. Your crane is selected and ready to use. ready to get outrigger loadings / ground pressures. ready for to check the capacity and. ready to print. BUT! You want to attach a 3D load on that crane.
2. Click this RHL-Button to get this Window
3. Make your choice in that head line because of the kind of load and the accessories you want. In order: A- Hook block only B- Hook block + ropes + load C- Hook block + ropes + spreader + ropes + load D- Hook block + ropes + spreader + ropes + 2nd /3rd spreader + ropes + load A B C D
4. Click to this button to select a load with hook block + ropes..before the selection + spreader + load See now, the second line has been changed...after the selection
5. Now, start over and select a hook block first 6. Make your choice out of more than 300 available hook blocks (For this example, please select as indicated on that picture) 7. Then click the next button to go for the ropes
HINT: Activate this security button, to make sure that your angles for the ropes never above 30 8. Select 2 (two) ropes Diameter should be 30mm
9. Select tail piece 30mm, for the upper end of the ropes (rope between is still selected) 10. Select tail piece 30mm, for the lower end of the ropes
11. Select a Shackle, 55t
12. Select an Eyebold, 16t
13. Now, click to that button to define your spreader (see the next window) 14. Select an I-Beam spreader
15. Define the size of your spreader See your results immediatly while your change the values
16. Define the link-points for the incoming forces (split it 8m) 17. Click that button.. and then agree You are not happy with the indicated angles? For sure not! Solution: Ask yourself a question: What s wrong? The angles for the ropes! Go back to the ropes and go back again to the spreader Don t worry because of that angles for the ropes
Remark This angle will be corrected automatically when this button is active (Menu with the ropes) Looks much better now
18. Now click to the next rope button HINT: If the side-frame looks like this then click this button to change between Sling or Rope Now select 4 ropes and all accessories from the top down as you did it before. Again! don t worry
19. Go back to the Spreader menu Define now the link-points for the outgoing forces (split it 8m for the length and 0,3m for the width) Click that button.. and then agree
20. Now click to the Load menu 21. Select Lattice load (4-corner cross section)
24. Done! Press this button now to get a total overview 22. Define size of your load 23. Define now the link-points for the incoming forces (split it 8m for the length and 1,6m for the width) Click that button.. and then agree Use the slew and orbit functions to zoom-in and out or turn view point
Now you got it, Take a look to the total overview and check if this what you see, is that what you want, then go for the last click 25. If you agree with your own result, click this button To get your load to your active crane.
Now you got it, See your load and all accessories are attached to your crane.
