Golf s oldest championship played over the Old Course at St Andrews is one of the great occasions in world sport, with the Home of Golf providing a unique atmosphere. Experience all the drama and excitement as Champion Golfer of the Year, Rory McIlroy, defends his title against our sport s finest players. The experience doesn t end there however, with so much more to enjoy in the Spectator Village. Our focus is on ensuring you enjoy a wonderful experience at The Open. Once again, our Wi-Fi network is available throughout our 20,000 public grandstand seats meaning you can access video highlights, player information, live scoring and commentary through The Open App on your own tablets or handheld devices from the comfort of your seat. Open to all the world In 1861, a year after Willie Park Sr won the very first Open, the members of Prestwick Golf Club confirmed that the Championship shall be open to all the world. For over 150 years, the world s best players have faced the unrelenting challenge of links golf in pursuit of the title of Champion Golfer of the Year. The Open is golf s most international Major and the 2015 Open Qualifying Series will offer 44 places in the 144TH Open at St Andrews. The Series comprises 14 events in nine countries on five continents and gives players the opportunity to qualify at prestigious events on the PGA Tour, the European Tour, the PGA Tour of Australasia, the Asian Tour, the Sunshine Tour and the Japan Golf Tour. The first event on the road to St Andrews is the Emirates Australian Open and the Series then moves around the world over several months ahead of the Championship. Hundreds of players will attempt to secure places in The Open through Regional and Final Qualifying in Great Britain and Ireland before the action culminates on the eve of The Open, at the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open and the John Deere Classic, where players will attempt to clinch the last remaining places in the field at the Home of Golf. 3

Further information relating to routes will also be published on TheOpen.com To ensure you stay informed and you are provided with the best possible experience, download the Official Open App at Apps.TheOpen.com Travelling by Road It is anticipated that given the high number of spectators attending the 144 TH Open at St Andrews, the surrounding road network will be busy. To ensure the best possible flow of traffic, Police Scotland is urging all motorists to use the designated traffic routes, which will be clearly signed by the AA. Visitors and spectators are advised to turn off their satellite navigation systems and follow the appropriate signage. From the North via the Tay Road Bridge On the A92, continue to the Forgan Roundabout, then turn left on to the A914/A919 to Guardbridge via Leuchars and then join the A91 to the Public Car Parks. From the North via Perth Exit the M90 at Junction 9. Take the A912 then A913 through Newburgh, turning left on to the A92 and continue to the Forgan Roundabout. Thereafter, turn right on to the A914/ A919 to Guardbridge via Leuchars and then join the A91 to the Public Car Parks. From the West via the Clackmannanshire Bridge Follow the A977 to Junction 6 of the M90. Continue north on the M90 to Junction 8, then take the A91 towards St Andrews and the Public Car Parks. From the South Cross the Forth Road Bridge and follow the M90 to Junction 2A, thereafter following the A92 to Glenrothes (Preston Roundabout), A911/A915 through Leven and on towards the Public Car Parks. Using Park & Ride Designated routes will lead to Park & Ride facilities operating from some Public Car Parks. These facilities will reduce delays, allowing motorists to travel to and from the course on dedicated buses provided. Spectators are strongly encouraged to use the Park & Ride facilities to minimise disruption to local traffic and ensure a swift transfer to and from the 144 TH Open. Car Parking Weekly Car Park passes are available at a cost of 60.00. Weekly passes are only available in advance from TheOpen.com or The Open Ticket Office (01334 460010) and are subject to availability. Daily Public Car Parking, payable in advance or on arrival, will cost 10.00 from Sunday 12 to Tuesday 14 July and 15.00 from Wednesday 15 to Sunday 19 July. Please note that when purchasing parking at the Public Car Parks only cash is accepted.! Please follow the AA signage to the Public Car Parks, Reserved Label Car Parks and Coach Parking. Those ignoring the identified routes are likely to experience lengthy delays. 5 6

Planning your journey Coach Park A Coach Park is located near to the course and drivers are advised to follow the appropriate AA signage. Daily Coach Parking, payable on arrival only, is available at a cost of 40.00. Please note that when purchasing parking at the Coach Park only cash is accepted. Spectators with Disabilities Spectators with mobility impairments who intend to purchase tickets in advance or on the day at the gates are advised to telephone The Open Ticket Office (01334 460000) for details on access and Car Parking arrangements. The ticket provides train travel to Leuchars plus a bus link to the course. An enhanced rail service will also be provided. For more details please refer to TheOpen.com Travel by Bicycle A designated Bicycle Park will be located near to the course. Cyclists are encouraged to follow road signage to Purple Car Parks and then follow the appropriate signage. Please note that bicycles are not allowed into The Open and are left at the Bicycle Park at owners risk. Travelling by Air St Andrews is served by Dundee Airport (15 miles), Edinburgh Airport (48 miles), Glasgow Airport (82 miles) and Aberdeen Airport (83 miles). A limited number of reserved grandstand seats at the 1st Tee and 17th Green can be purchased in advance. A limited number of free grandstand seats are available at the 18th Green. Large Screens Keep up-to-date with all the action through one of the many electronic leaderboards situated around the course. Or relax and watch the day unfold on the large video screens located in the Spectator Village area. The Open Shop Ralph Lauren, Official Outfitter to The Open, will present their RLX Golf, Polo Golf and Ralph Lauren Golf ranges. Ahead will also feature with clothing collections for men and women and a wide selection of exclusively designed headwear. Outerwear, golf accessories and children s apparel will also all feature. Golf Museum Celebrating The Open returning to the Home of Golf, this year s ticket includes same-day admission to the world-class Golf Museum. The museum has recently been completely refurbished and is located behind The Royal & Ancient Clubhouse. Binoculars Nikon is a Patron of The Open and a full range of binoculars is available for hire from the Nikon Marquee in the Spectator Village. Autographs To assist players and spectators, a specific autograph area will be designated and clearly signposted. Left Luggage Facilities There will be several complimentary left luggage facilities located throughout the Spectator Village, operated on a first come, first served basis. Please note that security bag searches may be in operation. Banking Service HSBC is one of the world s largest banking and financial organisations. As a Patron of The Open, HSBC will provide a full service branch in the Spectator Village enabling spectators to access money, free of charge, from ATMs. Additionally, Personal Advisers will be on hand to discuss any business, personal and foreign exchange requirements. St Andrews Links Trust were the very first Open venue to achieve the prestigious Golf Environment Organisation certification for its sustainability commitments and achievements. Medical and First Aid Full medical and first aid facilities will be available at several points around the course and in the Spectator Village. Further facilities will be available to purchase basic pharmaceutical supplies such as painkillers and sun cream. Safety Remember to wear appropriate footwear and clothing.
