See specific information below. Note: The following rules & guidelines will be strictly enforced by WAKA so please read them carefully. All teams must be ready to play 10 minutes prior to game time for check in. There will be random roster checks. All players must have proper ID and must they be on the team s official WAKA roster. Captains are required to have the current rosters available. Illegal players attempting to or playing will result in an automatic forfeit of your game and the captain will lose the right to pick or captain a team in the future. If at scheduled game time a team is not ready to play, that team will lose 1 inning of kicking for every 5 minutes they are not ready. At 15 minutes past the scheduled start time they are not ready, the game is a forfeit. If both teams are not ready the same rules apply. Teams must have at least 4 male and 4 female eligible players to play. Deal making between teams is prohibited. If you do not have enough registered players as per the policy above, the game is a forfeit. Note - Eligible players must have team shirts and not be injured, i.e. no casts etc. Game length is 1 hour from the scheduled start time. There are 5 innings in tournament play. Teams are allowed to complete the inning they are playing if the 1 hour mark hits. You may not start a new inning past the 55 minute mark. There are no extra innings allowed in any rounds. Up to two innings of Kansas City format Kickball will be used At any point after 3 innings a team is winning by 12 or more runs, the game will immediately end and is considered final. In all rounds, games that are tied after regulation innings or 1 hour, up to two innings of Kansas City Kickball format will be played to determine the winner, more on that below. Per WAKA Tournament Rule 10:03 - Any runner off base when the ball is kicked with 2 outs will be out and the next kicker in the lineup will start the next inning. WAKA WILL NOT TOLERATE ANY UNSPORTSMANLIKE- LIKE CONDUCT YOU WILL BE SUSPENDED FROM THE REMAINDER OF THE TOURNAMENT & MAY NOT BE AL- LOWED TO REGISTER FOR A FUTURE SEASON! If your team or guests violate the division beverage rules, your game will be an automatic forfeit! Tie break format for all rounds If the game is tied after regulation innings, up to 2 extra innings of Kansas City style will be played up until the 80 minute mark and played as follows. Place the last kicker from the previous inning on 2nd base The fielding team will place 4 males and 4 females only on the field. playoff power RANKINGS WEEK eight november 18 recess renegades 8th!!! Pretty good for our team with 14 members over 40+. Their ranking has landed them a rematch of last week s game against IKJP. Will they finish them off? I m kick james, pitch! Last week s lost cost them at least 3 spots in the standings but it also earned them an opportunity to take down RR in a rematch. Will they learn from mistakes made last game and pull the upset? kickheads A season I m sure not up to Kickhead standards but they have an opportunity to make it right by pulling off some upsets during these playoffs. Will they get it done? Ballsagna So they ve finished the season undefeated. They currently look like the 2007 Patriots, will their playoff run end like theirs? Is there a 2007 NY Giants of Kickball out there? I m sure Ballsagna doesn t think so; it s up to another team to prove them wrong. The Foot Clan Strong season with only one loss to the team above. Looks like a fairly easy road back to the championship. Can they get back and make back to back appearances in the past two seasons? rubber balls & Liquor Great season for a brand new team with a few veterans but mostly rookies and 2nd season players. Way to get the job done and clinch the 3 seed. What will be done with it? Will they make it to the Semi s and upset the Foot Clan? They have the talent; let s see if they can get it done. local skanks Another new team who has put together an outstanding season. The only question that remains is are they playoff ready? They look like it with the way they played Ballsagna last week. A 3-1 loss to the top team in the league and by far the closest game they ve had all season. If LS plays like this in the playoffs they should have an opportunity for a rematch in the Semi s. homeplate hustlers With 2 early losses in the season, the hustlers were able to finish out the season very strong and snag a fairly good seed. Will they be able to keep the win streak alive and make a good run in the playoffs? kick tease Have had an up and down season with some surprising losses but don t take them lightly. They were probably just teasing during the season and will not be joking around come playoff time. Look for them to have a good run. Rarr I m a Dinosaur This crew has had some fortune in their favor these last couple weeks that land them in the 7 spot. Will they be able to take advantage of their good luck and get the job done against the Kickheads? saved by the ball Started out red hot with a 3-0 start and haven t won a game since. Will they get the fire lit again in time for playoffs? They need to cause it is win or go to the bar now. I guess another loss wouldn t be so bad.. rubber busters Had one of the toughest schedules out there and faired pretty well. It is now time for them to pull an upset to get closer to the Golden Keg. Will they pull it together and win their rematch against the HH? That Pitch is a Bunt They look good in that bright orange and their name is awesome, unfortunately their win records is not as glamorous BUT they probably are the most fun team out there AND are capable of knocking off Local Skanks. Make it happen! bunt cakes They have talent, they just gotta get them to show up. Maybe they only show up for playoffs. This is another team playing below their potential. The playoffs is their opportunity to show us. Will they upset the 3 seed? Red Balls & Vodka Rough season for RB&V, but they most importantly are still having fun out there and that is all that matters. Unfortunate circumstances vacated one of their wins and landed them here, maybe fortune will be in their favor for the playoffs and they will pull an upset of the season!! all my pitches loves me Another team with a rough season and a team filled with a bunch of quitters!!!
