How to get to the venue is incredibly well-connected, with five international airports and the high-speed Eurostar rail link. More than 50 countries are within a three-hour flight time and upwards of 300 international destinations have direct links to. Airports: is served by a number of international airports however the following are recommended for transfers to the Lee Valley VeloPark: City Airport (Official Airport) 8 km with a journey time of 20 minutes by car. Heathrow Airport (Official Airport) 30 km with a journey time of 60 minutes by car. Train / Tube Stations: Both Stratford Regional Station and Stratford International Station arrive at the Westfield Complex only 15 minutes walk from the velodrome. Stratford International station If arriving by train this is the recommended service. Stratford International Train Station is a 15 minute walk to the Lee Valley VeloPark, a taxi journey from the station would approximately take 5 minutes. The journey from St Pancreas International train station to Stratford International on the new Javelin Southeastern High Speed 1 service is on average 7 minutes long. The competition velodrome will be available for scheduled training on, Wednesday 3 rd and Thursday 4 th December. Training schedules will be distributed once all teams have confirmed their arrival details. Training before Wednesday 3 rd December For any teams arriving early CSE can liaise with the venue to arrange chargeable training time on your behalf. Competition Schedule and Team numbers - LONDON ONLY IMPORTANT NOTE: The schedule for the round is different to the other rounds in the 2014/15 UCI Track Cycling World Cup series. The racing in will be held over 3 full days and there are four additional Class 1 races included. These are shown in purple on the schedule for clarity these are: Women s Scratch Race - 10Km Men s Points Race 30Km Women s Points Race 20Km Men s Madison Race 30Km These races are additional and separate to the World Cup and World Cup rider quotas. These races will be awarded Class 1 points. Nations and teams are encouraged to enter additional riders into these races. Rider Numbers in each Class 1 event are limited to 24 riders in the Scratch and Points Races and 18 teams for the Madison. Selection of the field where necessary will be made in accordance with the current UCI World Rankings Rider quotas for the World Cup races remain the same as per UCI regulations 3.4.004 to 3.4.007bis. Team Accommodation and Meals Financial Conditions The Organising Committee will provide accommodation for four (4) nights on a share basis for riders riding World Cup events (arrival date: 14:00 on Thursday 4 th December, departure at 10:00 on Monday 8 th December) and breakfasts from Friday 1 st December to Monday 4 th December. This is for the stipulated quota of officials and riders in National teams as per UCI rule 3.4.012 as noted below: The organiser shall pay, in addition of the riders for: 1 attendant for teams of fewer than 3 riders 2 attendants for teams of 3 to 5 riders 3 attendants for teams of 6 to 10 riders 4 attendants for teams of 11 to 15 riders Class 1 Only Athletes Nations / UCI Registered Track Trade Teams with athletes only participating in C1 events as noted above will be responsible for the full cost of their participation in the UCI Track Cycling World Cup including accommodation, meals and airport transfers. Nations / UCI Registered Track Trade Teams with athletes only participating in C1 only may reserve accommodation for riders and attendants by completing the attached booking form. UCI Registered Track Trade Teams UCI registered teams will be responsible for the full cost of their team s participation in the UCI Track Cycling World Cup including accommodation, meals and airport transfers. The cost per person in a single room is 132.00 per night. MEALS These rates, quoted in POUND STERLING, include buffet breakfast, tax/vat, Wi-Fi, and airport & velodrome transportation for all training and competition days. The official airports are City & Heathrow. Breakfast The OC will provide breakfast on a buffet basis at the hotel from Friday 5 th December to Monday 8 th December for National team quotas. Breakfast for additional personnel, Track Trade teams and additional days is included in the room rate if reserved for those personnel. Served from 6.30am to 10am (6am to 10am Sunday) Lunch & Dinner In accordance with the UCI requirements the OC will offer a meal package for lunch and dinner served at times to suit the training and competition schedule; a choice of three main courses including a vegetarian option will be offered for both lunch and dinner. All teams reserving accommodation may reserve this meal package at a cost of 38.00 ( 45.00 at the Holiday Inn) per person per day. Lunch served from 12.30pm to 3pm Dinner served from 6.30pm to 11.30pm (Sunday 6.30pm to 10.30pm) Packed lunches can be pre-ordered for competition days. Further information will be available during the event from the CSE Accommodation & Transport welcome desk located at each hotel. Any Federation or team which does not take up the meal package will be lodged in a hotel solely on a bed and breakfast basis and will make their own meal arrangements. Page 7

Deadlines Federations and teams requiring additional accommodation, meals or ground travel must either make a bank transfer or provide valid credit card details as reimbursement for any additional services shown on the booking form to guarantee their booking. Should, for any reason, the bank transfer or credit card transaction fail to reimburse the OC for accommodation, meals or transport reserved the OC reserves the right to cancel the reservation. Whilst the OC will endeavour to meet any additional requirements requested after Friday 14 th November it is not possible to guarantee that these requests can be met. All accommodation payments must be made before accreditation released and hence access to the venue is possible. Accommodation Bookings - Terms and Conditions Cancellation Policy: 100% cancellation charges will apply for accommodation and meal cancellations received after 12:00 on Friday 14 th November Team Transport Airport Transport The Organising Committee will provide transport to and from City or Heathrow airports and the official hotels for national teams. Transport will be provided by the Organising Committee from Monday 1 st December until Monday 8 th December. As per the UCI guidelines, one pick-up per team on arrival and one drop-off per team on departure will be provided. All national teams arriving before this date may be charged a fee for this service. UCI Registered Trade teams may be charged an airport transfer fee should they wish to use the Organising Committee transport. UCI Registered trade teams should indicate if they wish to access OC transport. Venue Transport A shuttle service will be provided to and from the velodrome from official hotels. This service will commence on the morning of Wednesday 3 rd December for official training. Schedules will be distributed on arrival. Page 8

No access is available to accredited areas (this includes track centre) starting from Wednesday 3 rd December without accreditation. Doping control Venue: The doping control suite is located by the exit from track centre and is clearly identifiable. Sports Analysts An area is provided for sports analysis on the home straight concourse. Availability is limited. Teams wishing to utilise this facility must book their position with the Competition Manager prior to arrival.
