The 7th grade boy's soccer team won 6-0 against the Dux of Zeeland Creekside. Goals were made by Isaac Strock, Juan Villarreal, Owen Rycenga, Travis Veldhouse and 2 goals by Daniel Mung They improved their record to 7-1. Go DAWGS!

Last night your Grandville 8th Grade Soccer Team played Zeeland to a 3-3 tie. Scoring goals for Grandville were Alex Santoyo, Andrew Larsen, and Joe Dean. Picking up assists on the goals were Colton Fleeger and Andrew Larsen.

KDL Mobile Library will be here before school on Tuesday, October 10 th.

Students should not be swinging on the gate by the buses after school. It is dangerous and we want to keep you safe. The bus drivers have a big responsibility and we need to be respectful of them as well. Thank you for your cooperation!

Attention all Art Club Members! T-shirt money must be turned into Miss O'Donnell by Monday October 9th!!! The cost is $5. If you do not pay by this day, you will not have a t- shirt even if you ordered one. You may bring a t-shirt from home if you do not want to order one. The next Art Club meetings are Tuesday October 10th, and Wednesday October 11th. See you in the Art Room from 3-4:30!

October French Club Meeting!! Monday, October 30th at 2:45-4:45pm. We are watching a film called "The Extraordinary Adventures of Adele-Blanc Sec. We will watch it in French with English subtitles. Please sign up before Friday, October 27th to let Madame Wagoner know you are coming.

Do you like science? Do you like to build devices to accomplish a task? Then Science Olympiad is for YOU!! If you are interested in participating on an award winning team, see Mr. Marvel (room #138) or Mrs. Vacha (room #121). There will be a parent meeting for those interested on October 26th at 6:30 in the project room. Thanks!

Winter 1 Sports Sign-Ups Winter I sports sign-ups have been sent to student emails. If you plan on participating in Boys Basketball (tryouts), Competitive Cheer (tryouts) or Girls Swim & Dive... be sure to sign up thru the email from Ms. Thornton as soon as possible. A sports physical and the $45 Pay to Play fee must be turned in NO LATER than Oct. 9. If you don't have a physical turned in (must be dated April 15, 2017 or after) please come to the office in the morning, during your lunch or after school and see Mrs. Breazeale. Specific times and locations will be released at a later date. Keep watching announcements! Oct. 16: Tryouts for Boys Basketball Oct. 16: First practice for Girls Swim and Dive Oct. 24: Competitive Cheer tryouts.

We have more shirts in stock! Be Nice. sale in the lobby on Friday morning. Plan to bring some money and buy a shirt. Or THREE! Students may stop by Mrs. Vacha s room (121) any other day of the week before school to purchase items as well.

Girls Rock IT Hands On technology event for girls in grades 4-8. With the goals of breaking stereotypes and exciting girls about interesting opportunities in Information Technology, the Michigan Council of Women in Technology will be offering a day of interactive fun and learning at Davenport University on Saturday, October 21, 2017. Girls in grades 4-8 will be given opportunities for hands-on experiments led by some of the area's leading computer and information technology experts. Please join us for breakfast and information session about the expanding world of technology careers as students learn a variety of technology skills as they rotate through different sessions. There will be Open Gym for any 7 th or 8 th grade boy that is interested in trying out for basketball. Open Gym will be on Wednesday, October 11 th (6:15-7:30 p.m.): [Student-athletes should be changing in the locker rooms inside the gym after school and not the bathrooms.]
