THE Whitsunday Moto Sports club. INC. hereinafter called THE CLUB will conduct Supermoto races at Whitsunday Raceway on October 30th 2016 2. JURISDICTION: 2.1. The above mentioned meeting has been authorised by Motorcycling Queensland who have issued the MQ Permit Number 51623, and is open to holders of a current MOTORCYCLING AUSTRALIA National licence. 2.2. The meeting is to be held in accordance with the 2016 Manual of Motorcycle Sport (M.O.M.S) as issued by Motorcycling Australia, these Supplementary Regulations, the By-Laws of MQ and any Final Instructions. 2.3. By entering this meeting, all parties agree to comply with these rules, regulations, by-laws and instructions. 2.4. Authority to use the course has been granted by the Whitsunday Motosports club and Whitsunday Council and the MQ Permit Number 51623

3. ENTRIES: 3.1. Entries and payment can only be made to The Whitsunday Moto Sports Club 3.2. Entries open forthwith and close last mail 21st October 2016. 3.3. Heats will be run if numbers per class exceed 24. 3.4. In the event of abandonment or postponement of the Meeting, the Club may retain all or any part of the entry fee, if, such retention is approved by MQ. 3.5. Only entries received on the attached Official Entry Form that are accompanied by the correct entry fee will be accepted. Please ensure that both sides of the form are completed. 3.6. The return of entry fees for any rider withdrawing from the meeting is at the discretion of the Club. 3.7. The Whitsunday Moto Sports club reserves the right to refuse and return any entry subject to 2016 Manual of Motorcycle Sport. 4. ENTRY FEES: 4.1. $115.00 for all Senior Competition Classes. 4.2. $50 for all Senior Support Classes. 4.3. Second and subsequent Senior Classes by the same competitor - $ 10.00 4.4. $ 50.00 for Junior Nominations 4.5. Second and subsequent Junior Classes by the same competitor are free. 4.6. Junior Nomination will be reduced by $ 25.00 if a senior member of their family has nominated and paid to participate in the meeting. 4.7. $15 timing fee applies (If the competitor requires to hire a Transponder). 4.8. Payment by Cheque, Money Order, Visa/MasterCard or cash ONLY 4.9. ALL Cheques and Money Orders are to be made payable to WHITSUNDAY MOTO SPORTS CLUB. Any fees for dishonoured cheques will be the responsibility of the entrant 5. INSURANCE: 5.1. National Personal Accident Insurance Scheme provides for basic cover with regard to death and permanent disability. Refer to 2016 Manual of Motorcycle Sport. 5.2. Ambulance insurance is compulsory for all competitors 5.3. It is strongly recommended that competitors give due consideration to taking out Personal Accident Insurance or Weekly Benefits Insurance.

6. MEDICAL SERVICES: 6.1. AWB FIRST AID FIRST will be in attendance during the practice and racing portion of the meeting. 7. COMPETITION CLASSES: Class PRO OPEN Clubman Capacity Over 175cc to 250cc Two-stroke & Over 290 to 450cc Four-stroke. As per Supermoto MOMS-19.4. A,B,C & D Grade Riders Up to 500cc Two-stroke & Up to 700cc Four-stroke. As per Supermoto MOMS-19.4. A,B,C,D Grade & Clubman Riders Up to 500cc Two-stroke & Up to 700cc Four-stroke. (FREE RIMS) As per CLUBMAN MOMS-19.4. First or second year racers, C and D grade riders, no cross entry into PRO or OPEN. (Can be moved into PRO or OPEN as per Supplementary Regulations-8.4.) Junior Up to 125cc Two-stroke & up to 250cc Four-stroke As per Supermoto MOMS-19.5. 13 15 Years Junior Lites 9 13 Years Veteran's Over 65cc to 85cc Two-stroke & Over 90cc to 150cc Four-stroke. As per Supermoto MOMS-19.5. Up to 500cc Two-stroke & up to 700cc Four-stroke (FREE RIMS) As per MOMS-19.4. 8. SUPPORT CLASSES: Class Formula 2 Formula 3 FORMULA ROAD RACE Capacity Includes 250cc four cylinder 4-stroke, 250/300/500cc single or twin cylinder 4-stroke and Up to 125cc 2-stroke machines. Includes 400cc four cylinder 4 -stroke, Up to 650cc single or twin cylinder 4 stroke and Up to 250cc 2-stroke. All eligible Senior Solo machines - including Supermoto JUNIOR ROAD RACE As per current MOMs. Track Day AS per WMSC Class Rules: Open to all capacities of motorcycle. This is a NON- COMPETITIVE class.

9. PRIZEMONEY & TROPHIES: 9.1. Will be advised in final instructions. 10. ENTRIES TO CONSTITUTE A CLASS: 10.1. To constitute a Championship Medallion Class, the number of contestants entered and competing in each event shall be TEN (10). 10.2. To constitute a Championship Certificate Class, the number of contestants entered and competing in each event shall be SIX (6). 10.3. Should there be insufficient entries in any Class of Competition, the decision to run or to combine classes and re-distribute any awards and/or prize money will be at the discretion of the Club, subject to MQ approval. 10.4. Clubman riders can be moved into either PRO or OPEN competition classes at the discretion of the Clerk of Course with the approval of Motorcycling Australia. MoMs 22.6.2 10.5. Any changes to classes or program of events will be notified to all competitors in Final Instructions. 11. RACE FORMAT: 11.1. Will be advised in final instructions. 12. MACHINES & RIDERS: 12.1 All machines entered must comply with the current GCR s. 12.2 All Solo motorcycles must be fitted with folding or shear type footrests. 12.3 Engine crankcase and gearbox breathers must be fitted with hoses feeding into an oil catch container with a volume of at least 300cc, which must be emptied after each event (local track requirement) 12.4 Carburettor and radiator vent and overflow hoses should be fed into a suitable catch tank or a catch tray for non-adr and fully faired machines as per the GCR s. 12.5 Each rider must present their leathers, helmet, back protector, eye protection, gloves and boots to the Scrutineering Team, at the SAME time as the machine(s) to be examined. 12.6. Wherever possible, competitors will be allocated their Registered Riding Number. All others will be allocated numbers at the Promoters discretion. 12.7 Number plates for ALL classes as per GCR's. 12.8 End case protection will be enforced as per GCR s. 12.9 Sound testing will be conducted at this meeting in accordance with relevant GCR's.

13. GRID POSITIONS: 13.1. Starting grid positions will be determined by lap times from official timed PRACTICE/QUALIFYING held on Sunday. 13.2. Grid positions will be progressive. Determined by finishing place of previous race. 13.3. Spare positions on the grid will not be filled. 13.4. Competitors who enter late or who do not complete an event, or fail to participate/record a time in practice may be placed on the rear of the grid at the discretion of the Clerk of Course. 14. CHANGE OF MACHINE: 14.1. Any rider may change his/her machine prior to the start of each race provided the following points are adhered to: 14.2. Change of machine will be permitted only if the request is submitted in writing to the Clerk of Course via the Race Secretary and with the approval of the MQ Steward at least 20 minutes prior to the start of the event in which the change is required. 14.3. No rider may change to a machine, which has not been entered in the meeting. There is provision on the entry form for spare machine details to be entered. 15. MACHINE EXAMINATION: 15.1. From 7am Sunday all competitors must present leathers, helmet, back protector, gloves, boots and eye protection for inspection at the same time as their machine. Protective clothing to be as 2016 Manual of Motorcycle Sport. 15.2. Scrutineering may also be carried out on Friday and Saturday 15.3. Competition Machines must comply with 2016 Manual of Motorcycle Sport. 15.4. Drain plugs and caps which, if removed, permit the discharge of any lubricating, cooling or hydraulic fluids, must be wire-locked or otherwise secured in a tightened position. 15.5. Where flexible oil line other than those supplied as standard equipment by the original machine manufacturer are used, they must incorporate high pressure hose secured by high pressure connections. Worm drive hose clamps may not be used. 15.6. The only liquid coolant permitted in radiators is water. No glycol based fluid permitted. 15.7. A self-closing throttle must be fitted. 15.8. Knobby tyres are not permitted. 15.9. A non-return valve must be fitted to the petrol breather pipe, which must discharge into a catch tank with a minimum capacity of 350 ml. 15.10. All four stroke motorcycles must be equipped with an oil catch tank with a minimum volume of 500cc properly fastened, or a closed breather system must be installed. 15.11. All machines must be fitted with an effective engine kill switch. 15.12. Any Machine involved in an accident must be re-presented for machine examination before further participation in the event. 15.13. Metal Valve stems or shortie rubber stems are mandatory in all tubeless tyre applications.

16. RIDERS BRIEFING: 16.1. All riders are required to attend the riders briefing, this will be held at 0830 Sunday. Details will be provided in the final instructions. Riders Briefing is a Non-Smoking Area. 17. STARTS: 17.1. All starts will be by light or raised flag- all starts will be by clutch. The light sequence will be red to off. All competitors to start when the red light is extinguished. 17.2. False Starts in any event will incur a 15 second relegation penalty at the discretion of the clerk of course. Riders will be notified by the display of their riding number at the start line on the completion of the first lap. 17.3. Time is at premium at these meetings therefore any rider deliberately wasting time on the sighting lap will be dealt with by the clerk of the course. 18. DRUG AND OR ALCOHOL TESTING: 18.1. All Competitors and officials are advised that as part of the MA drug education program, drug testing may take place at any competition in accordance with Australian Sports Commission policy as implemented by the Australian Sports Drug Agency. 18.2. If any doubts exist over banned substances it is recommended competitors telephone the Drugs in Sport Hotline on 1800 020 506. When drug testing takes place, the payment of prize money may be delayed at the discretion of MQ until the results of the tests are known. 19. CODE OF CONDUCT: 19.1. All Competitors, Officials and Parents are reminded of the Motorcycling Australia By-Law Code of Conduct, including the social media policy (as stipulated in the 2016 Manual of Motorcycle Sport which is a guide to appropriate behaviour at all Motorcycle Race Meetings. This code of conduct applies to this meeting and will be enforced). 20. CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION: 20.1. Road Race - Clockwise 1000 metre asphalt track. 20.2 Supermoto - Clockwise 1300 metre combined asphalt / decomposed granite track.

21. COURSE INSPECTION: 21.1. All Competitors will have the opportunity of walking over the length of the course to be used for racing in each event prior to morning practice, for the purpose of familiarising themselves with the layout and condition of the course. Competitors who, having walked the course, have any grievances with the condition of the course should advise the Clerk of Course immediately following their inspection. 22. NOISE & HOURS OF OPERATION: 22.1. Noise emissions for machines must not exceed 112dB (A) with a 4dB (A) allowance per MOMS 19.12.1.1. 22.2. For the purposes of drug and alcohol testing, the commencement of the meeting shall be deemed to be 0700 on Friday with the completion of the event for participants being 30 minutes after the completion of the final event. 23. SPECIAL NOTES & WARNINGS: 23.1. Protests will be lodged as per 2016 Manual of Motorcycle Sport. 23.2. FUEL is not available at this track 23.3. Shade is limited in the pits please bring your own 23.4. Power is not available at this track, all generators must comply with circuit noise restrictions and power leads must be tested and tagged 23.5. Body piercings must be taped or removed. 23.6. Alcohol is not permitted at this venue 23.7. No dogs allowed at the circuit other than guide dogs. 23.8. The club recommends that all competitors have a suitable fire extinguisher. 23.9. All persons must have enclosed footwear in the pits. Children must be supervised at all times. 23.10. Trophy Presentations will take place on Sunday evening at the venue immediately after the event. 23.11. Final Instructions will be loaded on the WMSC Facebook page or will be emailed to competitors where possible or will be posted on the www.wmsc.org.au web page prior to the event.

IN CONSIDERATION of the acceptance of me as a participant in the Meeting: b) IN CONSIDERATION of my acceptance as an entrant in the Meeting I a) I AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND KEEP INDEMNIFIED to the full extent consent and agree that MA and my SCB: permitted by law the Indemnitees and each of them in the following i) may collect and store any of my Information, including obtain my Information from manner: third parties including my Carers; i) that I participate in the meeting at my sole risk and responsibility; ii) HEREBY AGREE with Motorcycling Australia Limited ( MA ) that I am by this agreement entitled to participate in the motorcycle activity/meeting listed in Schedule 2 (hereinafter called "the Meeting" or the Event ) at the venue listed at Schedule 3 (hereinafter called "the Venue") on the terms and conditions set out in this document. 2. DEFINITIONS In this declaration: a) Claim means and includes any action, suit, proceeding, claim, demand, damage, cost or expense however arising including but not limited to negligence but does not include a claim against a Motorcycling Organisation under any right expressly conferred by its constitution or regulation; b) Indemnitees means and includes the persons, organisations and bodies corporate whose names appear in Schedule 1. c) MA means Motorcycling Australia Limited; d) State Controlling Body (SCB) means a state or territory motorcycling association affiliated as a member of MA; e) Motorcycling Activities means performing or participating in any capacity in any authorised or recognised Motorcycling Organisation event, meeting or activity; f) Motorcycling Organisation means and includes MA, and the MA members (including the SCBs and affiliated clubs) and where the context so permits, their respective directors, officers, members, servants or agents. 3. ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RISKS, DANGERS & OBLIGATIONS I ACKNOWLEDGE that: a) motorcycle sport is dangerous and that by engaging in the sport (whether as a competitor, recreational rider, coach, official or media) at the Meeting I take and am exposed to certain risks and dangers and am under certain obligations as follows: i) that I may be injured, physically or mentally, and may be killed; ii) that my machinery or equipment may be damaged, lost or destroyed; iii) that competitors may ride dangerously or with a lack of skill; iv) that track or event conditions may be hazardous and may vary without warning or predictability; v) that organisers, officials, landowners/track operators and any agents or representatives of those in charge of meetings are frequently obliged to make decisions under pressure of time/or events; vi) that any policy of insurance of or in respect of my life or physical or mental health may be voided; vii) that there may be no or inadequate facilities for treatment or transport of me if I am injured; vii) that I have an obligation to myself and to others to act safely and within the rules and regulations of MA; b) the Indemnitees do not make any warranty that the services at the Meeting will be provided with due care and skill or that any materials provided in connection with the services will be fit for the purpose for which they are supplied; c) to the extent that any warranty is implied it is excluded to the full extent permitted by law; d) have voluntarily read and understood this warning and accept and assume the inherent risks in participating in the Event. 4. WARNING UNDER THE FAIR TRADING ACT 1999 (VIC) Under the provisions of the Fair Trading Act 1999 (Vic) several conditions are implied into contracts for the supply of certain goods and services. These conditions mean that the supplier named on this form is required to ensure that the recreational services it supplies to you are: - rendered with due care and skill; - as fit for the purpose for which they are commonly bought as it is reasonable to expect in the circumstances; and - reasonably fit for any particular purpose or might reasonably be expected to achieve any result you have made known to the supplier. Under section 32N of the Fair Trading Act 1999, the supplier is entitled to ask you to agree that these conditions do not apply to you. If you sign this form, you will be agreeing that your rights to sue the supplier under the Fair Trading Act 1999 if you are killed or injured because the services were not rendered with due care and skill or they were not reasonably fit for their purpose, are excluded, restricted or modified in the way set out in this form. NOTE: The change to your rights, as set out in this form, does not apply if your death or injury is due to gross negligence on the supplier's part. "Gross negligence" is defined in the Fair Trading (Recreational Services) Regulations 2004. ii) that I accept the Venue as it stands with all or any defects hidden or exposed; iii) that I indemnify and hold harmless the Indemnitees, their respective servants, agents, officials and competitors against any actions, costs, losses or claims which may be made by me or on my behalf for or in respect of or arising out of my death or any injury loss or damage caused to me or my equipment whether caused by negligence, breach of contract or in any other manner whatsoever. b) I AGREE TO RELEASE to the full extent permitted by law the Indemnitees and each of them from all liability to me for any claim, loss, damage, cost or expense (whether arising under statute, from negligence, personal injury, psychological trauma, death, property damage or infringement of third party rights or otherwise) that arises as a result of any act, matter or thing done, permitted or omitted to be done by me or which is in any way connected with my presence at or involvement in the Event. c) The release and indemnity provided by me in this declaration is in addition to, and will not in any way limit the application of, the conditions of sale attaching to tickets, conditions of entry, conditions of credentials or any other applicable terms or conditions in respect of the Event. d) A term of this release and indemnity will not apply where the term contravenes the law of the relevant jurisdiction under which any legal action is legitimately taken however such terms are severable and do not invalidate the remaining terms. 6. MEDICAL I declare that I am and must continue to be medically and physically fit and able to participate in the Meeting. I will immediately notify MA in writing via my SCB of any change to my fitness and ability to participate. I understand and accept the Indemnitees will continue to rely upon this declaration as evidence of my fitness and ability to participate. I acknowledge and agree that if required, the Indemnitees (or any of them) may arrange medical or hospital treatment (including ambulance transportation) for me. I authorise such actions being taken by the Indemnitees and agree to meet all costs associated with such action. I understand it is compulsory for me to have ambulance insurance in some form and I accept responsibility for the cost of ambulance transportation, ambulance cover and further agree to maintain ambulance cover during the term of my license / membership. 7. PRIVACY I hereby consent to the collection of my personal information by the Promoter/Event Organiser, MA and the SCB in connection with my involvement at the Event and the use and disclosure of my personal information by Event Organiser, and MA to other agencies and officials associated with the Event for the purposes of conducting and managing the Event. I understand that I may gain access to my personal information held by contacting MA at 147 Montague St, South Melbourne, Victoria, 3205. I understand that if I do not provide the personal information requested above that I may not be permitted to participate in the Event. 8. PERSONAL HEALTH INFORMATION I hereby agree with MA and the SCB that in consideration for my participation in the Event that MA and the SCB may receive, collect, store and use personal health information about me in the manner set out below: a) I ACKNOWLEDGE that: i) If I am injured, become ill or die at or following the Event the party listed at Item 8 in Schedule 1 in addition to any hospital at which I am treated (together my Carers ) will have health related information about me in their possession, power and control relating to me which is subject to obligations imposed by the Privacy Act ( my Information ) and the Privacy Act is intended to protect my personal information; ii) MA and my SCB wish to collect my Information for purposes that include their risk management programs, evaluating and improving the safety of MA and SCB events and of the Meeting organisers and facility providers of MA / SCB permitted events, and generally to reduce the risks to persons engaged in motorcycle sport; and iii) may use any information collected in accordance with this clause for any purpose consistent with creating safer competition in motorcycle sport and events held by or in conjunction with MA, my SCB, or with an MA or SCB permit; may disclose my Information to third parties provided such disclosure is reasonably intended to be used for the purpose of improving safety at events held by or in conjunction with MA, or with an MA permit provided any such information is held by MA or my SCB in accordance with the MA Privacy Policy. c) I irrevocably authorise MA and my SCB and hereby appoint MA and my SCB as my lawful attorneys to collect from my Carers, and I hereby direct my Carers to provide to MA or my SCB upon request being made by MA or my SCB, any of my Information including but not limited to any information concerning any incident or event causing or contributing to or resulting from any injury, illness or death to me, the details of any diagnosis and prognosis provided to me by my Carers (or any party with the knowledge of any of my Carers), and any other matter to the knowledge of my Carers that might reasonably be considered to be requested by MA or my SCB for the purpose of improving safety at MA and SCB events. 9. POLICIES AND REGULATIONS a) I acknowledge, understand and agree that it is a condition of my participation in the Event that I agree to be bound by, and subject to, the rules, regulations and jurisdiction of MA as amended from time to time. Copies of all MA rules, policies and regulations are available by contacting the MA office. b) All participants are bound by the MA anti doping policy and thus understand they may be subject to drug testing. Testing conducted by the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority (ASADA) is in accordance with the ASADA Act and the National Ant-Doping Scheme. This involves the taking of a sample (any human biological fluid or tissue whether alive or otherwise, or any human breath) for the purpose of detecting the use of a Prohibited Drug or Doping Method. Any participant infringing MA s policy or refusing a drug test may be disqualified or otherwise dealt with in accordance with the terms of the anti-doping policy. 10. RIGHT TO USE IMAGE Right to Use Image: I acknowledge and consent to Photographs and electronic images (including, but not limited to, moving images) being taken of me during my participation in the Event. I acknowledge and agree that such photographs and electronic images are owned by (organisation) and it may use the photographs and electronic images for promotional or other purposes without my further consent being necessary. Further, I consent to (organisation) using my name, image, likeness and also my performance in the Event at any time, by any form of media, to promote (organisation) or the Event.
