Bridgestone British Masters Moto-X Championship 2018 Supplementary Regulations (Offroad Motorsport UK) Series Events to be strictly conducted in accordance with the Rules of Offroad Motorsport UK (Trading name of YMSA Ltd). Round 1 Hawkstone Park Round 2 Culham Round 3 Wroxton Round 4 Preston Docks Round 5 - Cusses Gorse Round 6 Whitby The Organising Body reserve the right to change/alter the format of the racing or event date/venue due to inclement weather. Entries These are open to any rider 40 Junior 65cc 40 Small Wheel 85cc 40 Big Wheel 85cc 40 MXY2 Youth 125cc, 150cc & 250F. 40 Amateur MX1 Open Capacity (16+) 40 Amateur MX2 144cc 2 stroke, 250cc 2 Stroke, 250cc four stroke (16+) 40 Clubman Open Capacity (16+) 40 125cc Capacity Class (14+) 40 Expert Pro MX1 / Pro MX2 (16+) The Registration fee is 170.00 (One off payment) or 180.00 (more than two payments) per Amateur Rider NON Refundable. The Registration forms must be completed and returned to Offroad Motorsport UK to enable a rider s inclusion into the series. Acceptance will be on a first come / first paid basis. Cheques to be made payable to Offroad Motorsport UK. The Registered Riders entry fees per event are:- Amateur Riders 85.00 per Round. Expert Pro Riders 50.00 per Round. Amateur MX1 and Amateur MX2 Riders may also double enter into the Pro Class for 50.00 without losing their gained championship points. The closing date for entries will be 14 days before each round. Entries received AFTER the closing date are NOT guaranteed a place, be the rider REGISTERED or Not. Entries to be made payable to Offroad Motorsport UK, for all rounds.

Meeting Day Licence Fee s (Temporary Licence) for Non-ORMS UK (YMSA Ireland) Licence holders will be applicable at cost of 10.00 per Round. National Licence Only for the Bridgestone British Masters ONLY events - 30.00 (Forms available from our website) Offroad Motorsport UK. Novice Riders are NOT permitted to enter or compete. If you cannot take part in a meeting, you have to cancel out before the Monday of the event by ringing the Secretary Tele: 07747 808 366. Failure to do so will eliminate any chance of any refund. Refunds: Registration: Entry: No refunds Refunds only on a verified medical certificate of injury/illness or for Compassionate reasons. All refunds are subject to a 5.00 administration fee. Admittance into the event is strictly from Noon on the Friday before the event. Registered Riders changing classes within the championship will not score further championship points. Machines, Eligibility and Classes. As per Offroad Motorsport UK Rules. Pre-Race Inspection will be carried out on the start line, unless notified different. Only 2 Machines per rider will be permitted. It is very important that the Bore and Stroke of each machine is clearly marked on the barrel of the machine. Any number of machines per group may be stripped to check bore and stroke each meeting. Please Note, It is the responsibility of the rider/mechanic to carry the necessary gaskets etc. for engine rebuilding. Noise testing will be carried out during the meetings at the discretion of the Clerk of the Course. Randomly selected bikes in every group may be impounded for 30 minutes immediately after their race. Riding Numbers must be of the correct size and clearly displayed (No metallic numerals) all as per ORMS UK rules. Clubman Class This class is for Riders that do not normally finish in the Top 10 at Club Events. Any Rider that is deemed to be more advanced will be upgraded at the discretion of the Clerk of Course. Transponders It is the responsibility of the rider to return the Transponder to the designated place and collect their documentation deposit. Failure to do so will result in charges being incurred by the rider. Any competitor whose transponder is lost on the track/ stolen or not returned will be invoiced for the FULL replacement costs. Only ONE Machine may be used per race. Practice Practice will consist of 2 Laps then Timed Qualifying which will determine the Race Peg Positions for each of the rounds. Riders must be in the park Ferme 10 minutes before their race. Start The Start will be a live engine clutch type. Once a rider has taken their position at the start gate, they cannot change it. The riders are deemed to be under Starters orders when the Starter has raised the Green/National Flag. The Starter will hold up a 15 Second Board for a full 15 seconds, at the end of the 15 seconds, he/she will hold up a 5 second board and the gate will drop anytime between 5 and 0 seconds after the 5 second board is shown. Riders who experience mechanical problems when under the Starters control MUST indicate the fact the Starter by holding one arm directly up right. The Starter will then hold up a two minute then one minute board to indicate the countdown of the time allowed. The rider will then have the two minutes to rectify their problem and then the race will be started. This two minute delay will only take place once per start. No one except Riders and Officials shall be permitted in the area of the start gate. False starts shall be indicated by the waving of the Red Flag. Note A Rider who did not participate in the initial false start i.e. was not on the start line, will not be allowed to take the line for a restart of the race. Note A change of bike for race restarts may only take place in the pegging up area, NOT in the Start Gate area. Stopping a Race The Clerk of the Course has the right on his own initiative, for urgent safety reasons, or other cases of force majeure, to stop a race prematurely or cancel a part or the whole of the meeting. In the event of a race being stopped by a Red Flag, if two thirds of the race is completed that result will stand provided the rider has crossed the finish line without any course cutting. The result is taken from the last complete lap ridden. If a race has to be stopped after the leader (s) has passed the chequered flag, they will be classified as having finished the race. The order of classification for those who have not taken the chequered flag shall be based upon the order of the last crossing the finish line prior to the showing of the red Flag. ALL Riders Must cross the chequered flag to be deemed as finished the race and awarded points within 5 Minutes of the winner taking the chequered flag.

Outside Assistance / Course Cutting Any Outside Assistance on the course is forbidden during the practice and the race (s) unless it is carried out by a Marshal appointed by an Official of the meeting to carry out his/her duty in the interests of safety. Where a Rider breaks the tape and or leaves the track during the race that Riders must re-join at a point at which he/she left or a safe point previous to that which he/she left the track (reference ORMS UK Competition Rules). Results will be carried forward to the next event. Riders entering a race who had received a DNF or who had not previously had a race result will pick a peg after all the seeded riders have moved to their start line positions. To be classed as a finisher, the rider must the chequered flag within 5 Minutes of the winner crossing the finish line without cutting the course. Protests All racing protests must be in writing with the appropriate fee of 100.00 and made within 30 minutes of the production of the chequered flag of the race in question to the Secretary of the Meeting. Any protests over results must be made within 30 minutes from the time the results are first displayed. Results Results should be displayed within 30 minutes of the Finish of the race. The actual points accrued in the races at the meeting by the riders will be carried forward for the overall Championship results. ALL race points from all rounds and races will count towards the Championship. Offroad Motorsport UK operates under the Mylaps Transponder System and points scored system.

Trophies There will be Series Awards in Junior 65cc to MXY2 Groups. Awards awarded to Top 6 in Junior 65cc to Big Wheel Classes over the weekend (all races count). Prize Money MXY2 Youth, 125cc, Amateur MX1 / MX2 / - Prize Money - Each Race Per Meeting. 1 st 6 th Place There will be NO Prize Money in the Clubman Class. End of Series Awards MXY2 Youth / Clubman / Amateur MX1 / Amateur MX2 / 125cc Class 1 st 3 rd Place Series Prizes. Expert Pro Mx1 / Pro MX2 Prize Money Race Meetings only Junior 65cc + Small Wheel + Big Wheel Classes End of Series Prizes 1 st 6 th Place. Programme of Races There will be four blocks of racing for Junior to MXY2 Youth and 4 Blocks of Racing for Amateur MX1/Amateur MX2/125cc Class, and Clubman Classes subject to condition and timing. Pro MX1 and Pro MX2 will be subject to 2 blocks of racing on the Sunday. It may be that due to unforeseen circumstances the Clerk of the Course may have to alter the racing format. Marshalling Marshals will be supplied at all rounds of the Series. Parents will be offered the opportunity to marshal and hence reduce their racing expenses. Expenses of 40.00 per day will be reimbursed to marshals (16+). General Generators must be switched off by 11pm and not started prior to 6.45am each morning. Dogs All dogs must be secured at all times on Race Days. Paddock Machines are NOT to be ridden in the paddock at any time. Your attention is drawn to the serious consequences which could arise from an accident caused by unauthorised riding in the paddock. Liability for any claim may rest with the owner of the vehicle and the driver (or parent/guardian) in the case of a minor.

The dumping of waste products be they human or mechanical in unauthorised area s/facilities is strictly forbidden. It is illegal to deposit waste oil in to the environment. All waste oils must be contained by working on motorcycles on rubber backed mats and waste oils to be taken away by the competitors in containers. Tyres are NOT to be placed into the skips provided and are the responsibility of the competitor. It is a condition of acceptance of entry that the promoters, and or Offroad Motorsport UK (YMSA Ltd) shall not be responsible for any damage to a motorcycle or its accessories, transponders, whether by fire, accident or any other causes, nor for theft of a motorcycle or its accessories during a meeting. We the Series Organisers reserve the right to alter and amend these regulations as may be deemed necessary. Spectator Fee s. Children under 5 s Free. Adults 5.00 Saturday / 10.00 Sunday Or Weekend Pass 10.00. Children 5.00 Saturday / 5.00 Sunday Or Weekend Pass 5.00 Children MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times. Wrist Bands Must be Worn at All Times. Competitors will be given 3 Wrist Bands Per Event (The rider must wear one). Over Night Camping is Free. We wish you every success with your Championship.
