A Full Bred Standardbred Registered with STAGBI ii. Parentally Verified to Sire & Dam by DNA analysis iii. Three years of age or older You are required to complete the following forms Application for Stallion Licence (PART A) Equine Identification (PART B) to be completed by Veterinary Surgeon Microchip, DNA & Health Declaration (PART C) to be completed by Veterinary Surgeon ARTIFICIAL INSEMINATION (Fresh, Chilled or Frozen) If you intend to collect semen from your stallion and that semen is to be used for AI purposes (Fresh, Chilled or Frozen Semen) please complete appropriate section in PART A and note that the stallion will need to be tested for Contagious Equine Metritis (CEM), Equine Infectious Anaemia (EIA) and Equine Viral Arteritis (EVA). Conformation of Negative results should be submitted with this application. In the case of a seropositive EVA result following vaccination, evidence of negative result prior to vaccination is required. It is also advisable for you to obtain a copy of the AI regulations from STAGBI.
