In conjunction with the Tulsa Holiday Circuit, the American Buckskin Registry Association, Inc will hold its 2018 Roping World Show at the Summer Circuit at the Tulsa Expo, Tulsa OK June 30, July 1 & 2, 2018. Each Exhibitor will be required to show to 6 judges in order to be eligible for World and Reserve World Champion Title. ELIGIBILITY All American Buckskin Registry Association Registered Buckskin, Dun, Red Dun, and Grulla horses will be eligible to compete in any and all classes only by restrictions regarding age of horse (i.e. junior/senior) or eligibility of exhibitors (i.e. youth/amateur). All current registered owners and all exhibitors must be a 2018 member of ABRA. REGISTRATION CERTIFICATES All horses, must be registered with ABRA to exhibit Entries must be made in the name of the owner last recorded on the original registration certificate. A photocopy of both sides of the ABRA registration certificate is to be presented at horse show office to receive exhibitor numbers. AMATEUR & YOUTH CARDS Exhibitors must apply for and receive an official 2018 ABRA Amateur or Youth Card in order to be eligible to show in any amateur or youth division classes at the ABRA World Championship Show. A copy of an Amateur or Youth Lease Acknowledgement must accompany entry, if applicable. JUDGING PROCEDURES All classes will be judged and placed by all six judges. The scores or placings will then be combined and averaged to determine the official World Championships and top ten horses in each class. Great care has been taken to select judges with breed experience and knowledge. The judges decision in the show ring are their own responsibility. Exhibitors, owners, agents, or spectators are prohibited from contacting a judge directly, in any manner, at any time prior to or during the ABRA Roping World Show. ABRA NATIONAL POINTS Following the completion of each ABRA class, the individual placings of each judge will be posted. A complete set of ABRA National Show points will be awarded according to the ABRA point system, for each individual judge s placings. RETURNED CHECKS A $50 penalty will be assessed for any returned check issued for the ABRA World Show. The person whose name and address appears on the check will be notified by U.S. Mail and given ten (10) days to clear the account with a certified check or money order. Any returned checks submitted prior to the show and not rectified by show time will constitute cause to disallow the entry in the classes. Returned checks not rectified within ten (10) days of notice will constitute cause for ABRA action as per rules in the current ABRA rulebook. AWARDS An ABRA World Championship Trophy Buckle will be presented to the winner of each ABRA class. A Reserve World Champion buckle will be presented to Reserve Winners.
