The following information has been designed to assist your National Federation in its attendance to this event. VISAS Some countries may require an entry Visa to Malta. We suggest you confirm this from your end and should you require any assistance please contact us in order to provide our support in obtaining the necessary Visa.

Please note that the Management Committee of FINA Competitions may change the order and schedule of the matches to meet with the requirements of the Host Federation and/or television.
TEAMS Each nation s delegation is to consist of 17 persons (13 players, 3 team officials and 1 referee). TRAVEL ASSISTANCE FINA will provide travel expenses for the participants (excluding the Host Country) for no more than 17 persons as follows: - USD 500.-/ per person for all teams from the Host Continent - USD 1000.-/per person for all teams from other Continents ACCOMMODATION Each participating federation has to cover the cost for accommodation for the team and the accompanying referee. The Host National Federation (HNF) will cover all accommodation expenses for 4 FINA Delegates, 1 Press Delegate, 1 Medical & Doping Control Delegate, 2 Neutral Referees in single rooms in a firstclass hotel on full board basis. Details of the official hotel accommodating the teams are listed below and reservations will be accepted on a first come first serve basis. The Organising Committee reserves the right to accommodate teams at other hotels of the same category should the need arise. The hotel rates are on full board basis and are guaranteed if reservations are made by 20 th August 2017. Each team has been allocated 2 single rooms, 3 twin rooms and 3 triple rooms but should you require additional rooms kindly inform us at your earliest convenience. TECHNICAL MEETING The Technical Meeting will be held on Monday 16 th October 2017 at 18:00hrs in the ASA Boardroom on the 2 nd Floor of the Tal-Qroqq Sports Complex in Gzira. The FINA TWPC Commission shall chair this meeting. DOPING CONTROL TESTING A minimum of twelve (12) urine tests must be conducted during the competition. FINA may notify the HNF if blood tests are necessary. Samples shall be analysed in a WADA-accredited laboratory and the laboratory must be requested to forward the analytical results directly to the FINA Office. The original doping control forms shall be sent to FINA Office by post mail after the event. ENTRY PROCESS AND PROTOCOL Only persons showing their accreditations will be allowed on the pool deck. ATHLETE MEDICAL SERVICES There is a Clinic on the pool deck and Life-Guards will be on duty during the matches. Medical Staff will also be employed throughout the competition and an ambulance will be present. EVENT INFORMATION All information about the competition will be available in the ASA Offices on the 2 nd Floor of the complex. ACCREDITATIONS All players, team officials and any other persons accompanying the teams will be given an accreditation. For this purpose, passport photos of every member of each delegation are to be sent to the HNF by not later than 20 th September 2017.
