Springboard Scholars, Springboard has begun! Springboard is an after tutorial, tutorial program. Springboard is in the library every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:15-4:30. You can receive Math and ELA support on Tuesdays and Science support on Thursdays. The best part: all Springboard students can take the Springboard bus home! Pick up an application from any pod secretary. For questions, visit Mr. Clark in room 2519.
Missing Laptop Students, if you have lost your laptop please let the Laptop Tech in the library know as soon as possible. Also, teachers if a laptop has been left behind in your classroom please return it to the Laptop Tech as soon as possible.
2016 Yearbook Orders Now is the time to buy your 2016 yearbook if you haven t already done so. Mrs. Hairston will place the final book order on April 15. You MUST have your order in by that date to be guaranteed a 2016 yearbook so order TODAY at www.smart-pay.com. See Mrs. Hairston in Room 1730 if you have questions.
Fees and Fines Tis the season to clear your fines and fees! If you have a class fee, you ll need to pay the teacher of that class. Pay library fines in the library, ID fines go to any pod secretary, transcript fees go to the registrar s office, Mrs. Pemberton and Mrs. Schwarz are in charge of textbook fees in the 2500 pod, and Mrs. Compton and Mr. Scott can take your laptop fines down in the 1100s.
Autism Fun Run The Clear Springs High School 3rd Annual Autism Fun Run is on Wednesday April 13th @ 1:50pm on the CSHS track. Please see Mrs. Coates in the cafeteria during lunch or in room 2302 to register. A portion of your race entry fee will be donated to Autism Speaks.
Scout Citizenship Award Attention Eagle Scouts and Girl Scout Golds. If you are an Eagle Scout or a Girl Scout Gold, you need to go by room 1737 and see Mr. Steele about getting your name in his database. This is your first step toward inclusion on the Scout Citizenship plaque on Mane Street.
Junior Class Fundraiser Attention Juniors! The Junior Fundraiser Candy has arrived! Come by the 1100 POD secretary desk, room 1102 to sign out a box or two today. Sale ends on May 6 th. Don t wait till the last minute to be eligible for a free Prom ticket and other prizes!
Lost and Found Reminder, the lost and found office is with Ms. Diaz in the senior pod. Please see Ms. Diaz or Ms. Coates if you have a lost item. Lost and found items in the cafeteria will be collected every Friday. All lost and found items not claimed by the end of each month will be donated to Goodwill. If you have a lost item, please come and describe it so we can reunite you with your sad, lost, and dejected property. It missed you, please come claim it and make it feel loved again.

Charger Guard Interested in becoming a member of the Clear Springs Charger Guard? Coach Traina will be holding a mandatory meeting on Monday, April 4th at 2:45pm in room 1117 to go over the application process. You must be a junior or senior for the 2016-2017 school year to be considered.
Mascot Tryouts Are you an enthusiastic person with school spirit? Mascot tryouts are around the corner! Come to a mandatory meeting on Wednesday, April 6th at 2:45pm in room 1117. Coach Traina will go over the tryout process.
Water Polo Congratulations to our water polo program. This girls team took two more games on Saturday with wins over Clear Creek High School and Brazoswood 14-2 and 13-2 respectively. They wrapped up the weekend in 1st place at the Spring Shootout, making it their second tournament win in a row. The boys also got two wins on Saturday with victories over Strake Jesuit JV and Baytown Sterling 13-8 and 8-2. The boys team finished the tournament in 9th place over all. Both teams will be back in action tomorrow as they face Friendswood in the District finale. Come on out to support your Chargers, Games begin at 4:30.
