Welcome 2 Welcome to London! Forest City Diving Club and Dive Ontario invite you to the 2018 Summer Ontario Provincials being held May 18-20, 2018 in London, Ontario. As the last provincial competition before Elite and Jr Nationals, we are excited to see the progression of Ontario divers as they strive towards their goal of qualifying for their respective Nationals. The Ontario Provincials are a Diving Canada Sanctioned meet, and serve as both a Jr. and Sr. National Qualifier. National Events follow the rules required for divers to qualify for Canadian Jr. and Sr. Nationals. Canada Games Aquatic Centre offers 3 1M Springboards, 2-3M Springboard, and 3-10M Platforms. There will be various crash mats for warm up use. Preliminary Events will be offered for all C and D divers for qualifying score for Jr. Nationals. As well, top 3 C1/D1 and top 5 C2/ D2 will progress to Finals. A and B divers will only compete in Final events. FCDC extends their warmest welcome to all clubs for the May long Weekend. Please ensure you have 2 separate dive sheets for your C and D divers (Group C1/C2/D1/D2 preliminary and Group C/D Final). ** please ensure you have the latest version of the DS Generator and that you correct your divers age group appropriately** Awards: Hospitality: Medals will be awarded to the top 3 in each event. Ribbons will be presented to 4-6 th place in each event. Coaches and Officials receive complimentary hospitality. Meal Plan: Breakfast/Lunch available for athletes all 3 days for $50 Please complete the meal plan form for your team, family members can participate as well. Rules All dive sheets are due 48 hours prior to the event using the Canadian Dive Sheet Generator (available online through Integrated Sport System http://www.intergrated.net/diving/dive_sheet_generator.html) Please be clear about which level your divers are entered for on the general entries, as well as on individual dive sheets. Dive sheets submitted after these times will be subject to a $25 late dive sheet fee (as per Diving Canada rulebook). No new dive sheets will be accepted within one hour of the posted start time of the event. Changes to the dive sheets must be submitted a minimum of 1 hour prior to the events posted started time. Diving Plongeon Canada 2017-2021 rules will apply to all Open and Age Group events. Ontario Provincial Rules for Open Events: 1 Metre 3 Metre Platform Women s 10.8 11.5 12.0 Men s 13.0 14.8 14.2 Additional Requirements: x01 and x02 dives are not allowed on 1m or 3m, where x denotes any group x02 dives are not allowed in any Open Platform Event x01 dives shall be performed from the 10m platform ONLY Schedule: A draft event schedule is included in this Meet Package. A revised schedule will be provided after the registration deadline. Events will have 30 minutes to warm-up prior to the start of the event.
